Evolved NEBULA is the next generation infrastructure for mission critical users. Based on the successful NEBULA architecture, with hundreds of references worldwide, eNEBULA incorporates LTE technology natively in its design to complement its narrowband offer.

The new core equipment of the eNEBULA infrastructure feature both narrowband TETRA and broadband LTE services in a single network design. The solution incorporates a 100% TELTRONIC designed LTE technology, built on top of the common components and architecture of the NEBULA TETRA infrastructure.

A single core network is deployed with eNEBULA, what optimizes CAPEX and OPEX by sharing hardware elements and using a single NMS, which provides networks administrators with all subscriber and network management capabilities to configure, monitor and check the performance of all TETRA and LTE system elements through a user-friendly, powerful graphic interface.

A hybrid control node can be deployed with eNEBULA incorporating the latest generation aTCA hardware platform, delivering state-of-art switching capabilities for voice and data TETRA communications as well as LTE broadband services.Additionally, different form-factors for the TETRA and LTE node are available to meet every deployment scenario, with the ability to share common elements such as cabinets, networking components and hardware modules.

When interoperability with legacy system or even other agencies system is a must, eConnect features from a simple talkgroup2talkgroup voice patching interconnection to a more comprehensive integration that enables other services such as private calls, encryption services, data transmission or DGNA.

SBS, Site Base Station: With its outstanding 75 watts of RF output power from each repeater and triple receiver diversity, SBS delivers the best coverage performance available in TETRA networks.

TETRA MBS, Mast-Mounted Base Station: the MBS is a complete 1-TETRA-carrier base station, permitting fully outdoor operation under the harshest weather conditions where an indoor base station is unadvisable. Its modular design allows it to be easily upgradable with an additional MBS unit for extra traffic capacity, and the fanless, ‘one-box’ design reduces the installation cost and facilitates the maintenance operations.

eNodeB in a single LTE MBS: Teltronic can supply an eNodeB in a single box to help TETRA customers to easily upgrade their systems. The unit can be installed on walls or towers with minimum cost. Its excellent design does not require any additional unit at the bottom of the tower. These advantages considerably reduce the installation costs, making the MBS a very cost-effective system. In eNodeB configuration it features a 10 + 10 watts, with MIMO capabilities.

DBS, Deployable Base Station: is an outdoor unit of reduced dimensions and easily transportable, which can be quickly deployed anywhere a new coverage area or further traffic capacity are needed to be set up. It can host up to two TETRA carriers, an hybrid configuration with TETRA and LTE or two eNodeBs, and is able to work either in a multisite system or as stand-alone unit, in which case the DBS creates a system itself capable of switching and managing the radio communication services among the local users within its coverage area.

PBS, Portable Base Station: the MBS, TETRA or LTE, may be converted into a portable base station by using a two-wheeled trolley, to facilitate transportation and allow users to effortlessly move it over all kind of surfaces. The PBS is the best fit for first responders attending Public Safety incidents, making it possible to deliver TETRA or LTE coverage to shadow areas or replace the damaged communication infrastructure in a quick manner.

eNEBULA compatibility with TETRA terminals from third party manufacturers is guaranteed through interoperability

certificates, secured by following the practices defined and maintained by the TCCA for interoperability certification

processes (IOP).

Broadband and Narrowband Converged: The narrowband switches between digital and analog, the broadband supports all mobile networks, and the two systems collaborate to guarantee a smooth communication.

Crystal Clear Critical Voice: The radio adopts advanced audio technology, such as triple mic noise suppression, acoustic echo cancellation and wind noise suppression, to ensure the user can receive and transmit clear voice communications even in noisy environments.

Multiple Security Assurances: The device supports authentication and both software and hardware encryption to prevent voice and data theft. The management system monitors the radio in real-time and the device can be stunned, killed, or data erased if there is any user abnormality.

Quick Charging: The latest smart battery technology delivers quick charging, 3 times faster than regular batteries. 80% of the capacity can be charged in just 30 minutes, while full charge can be achieved in 1 hour.

SDM: The massive incorporation of data in systems initially designed to support voice applications may affect the normal operation of the system. For instance, with the common built-in GPS receivers in TETRA radios, users expect to have a real-time location service without disrupting network voice operation. With SDM, Synchronous Data Manager, Teltronic has developed an optimized polling procedure that avoids typical collisions when transmitting data in random access technologies. The optimized polling method integrated in the eNEBULA system allows reducing up to 60% of the channels that would be necessary compared to an asynchronous solution.

VIDEO SOLUTIONS: Video in mobility and the integration with existing CCTV systems is an emerging need in the assistance to critical emergencies, and thus our command & control solutions integrate the access video streams through open and standardised methods.

MVC-6000: is the multi-technology vehicular console designed to provide a single MMI for first responders.
