Among these new gaming options is Fireball Bingo and mascot Hot Head Herbie which was recently introduced to our bingo players at Lone Butte Casino and Vee Quiva Casino. Fireball Bingo is an innovative, linked progressive bingo game with a million dollar jackpot that is heating up the bingo action at Gila River Casinos. For three dollars, players of Fireball Bingo pick five numbers. Five of a possible 75 bingo balls are drawn and if any player matches all five numbers, that player wins a cool $1 million. A player who matches four out of five numbers wins a progressive jackpot worth at least $10,000 and cash prizes are available for matches of three out of five or two out of five. Star Ginger Asian Grill and Noodle Bar celebrated its grand opening at Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino on July 27th. Celebrity Chef and

restaurantuer Mai Pham (pictured here with our own Chef Howard Goodman and Food Court

General Manager, Ed Healy) was on hand to greet the first guests.

You know you’re supposed to have fun at work, right? In fact, it’s encouraged. Really!

If you’re having a good time, it rubs off on our increasingly loyal guests, grows productivity and creates an environment that everyone

wants to experience again while helping with team member retention at the same time.

In other words, we want to keep you around to have even more fun! So make a point to

learn a few clean jokes to tell. Come up with an elaborate good luck “hand shake” for

guests only. It’s truly possible to take a vacation at work without getting in trouble (because we all know that goofing around is vastly different

than goofing off, which means not working at all). In short, delivering exceptional guest experiences doesn’t have to be difficult or

complicated, it can actually be what you love most about Gila River Casinos and the time

we’re spending together. So, make a promise to goof around more often. Let’s make FUN happen… for all the right reasons.

How does free candy, beverages and Harkins ultimate movie passes sound? Fortunately for us, The Quizinator is asking valued team members like yourself general knowledge questions about their site so they can win great prizes for being in-the-know. There will be three question “rounds” with a prize for each round. Answer right? Win the prize! Answer wrong? Game over.

The questions will be asked at random, but they should be a snap (especially since “Ask Me!” cards can be used at Wild Horse Pass and Lone Butte as reference). Easy, huh? So study up and look for The Quizinator, coming soon to a department just like yours …because anything this fun should be illegal!

This month is full of interesting shows in the Ovations LIVE! Showroom. Many of these shows are targeted to specific audiences. Latin Legends, Nhung Manh Tinh and 49 Laughs are shows targeted to bring new guests to Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino who may not yet have experienced all Gila River Casinos has to offer. Welcome these new guests and show them all that Gila River Casinos has to offer.

You might recognize September’s Team Member of the month. Manny Sabori plays the part of a bellman in the television commercial for Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino. When he isn’t busy in his role as a television star, Manny leads the promotions team at Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino where he is the Marketing Manager.

Manny has worked at Gila River Casinos for nearly ten years in the marketing department. During that

time, he has moved from Marketing Coordinator to Marketing Manager. Manny keeps track of daily reports to ensure promotions are meeting standards and performing efficiently. He maintains communication with several departments at all three casinos and the Tribal Gaming Office to meet the goals of the casino and stay ahead of the competition.

“In my position you get to see the impact our Team Members have on creating and running the promotions that make a real difference in our bottom line,” says Manuel. “I love being a part of bringing in revenues that make Gila River Casinos successful.”
