  • Your Task Your job is to promote your latest and greatest product to a company that you want as a sales partner. For example: The Acme Shoe Company has recently created a new running shoe and they want your marketing firm, Dewey, Lye & Howe, to convince SportChek to place this shoe in all of their stores nation wide. • Your Task Your job is to come up with a convincing sales presentation that you will play for the executives of the store you are pitching to. Some things you should think about: What is your product? What is it that makes your product unique? What are the key features of your product? What is the cost to the company, and what could they sell it for? What are the results of sales in other stores? IP10 Mr. Mellesmoen 2014

  • Must Haves Your PowerPoint presentation must have: Text (remember, less is more) Images Minimum of one chart / graph Video (must be under 1 minute long) Narration (your voice) Music IP10 Mr. Mellesmoen 2014 Your PowerPoint presentation must: Scroll automatically Have all animations start automatically Have all audio start automatically Have each slide timed appropriately

  • Things Im Looking For DesignTextAnimationsAudioVideo Your slide show uses a design that makes sense for your product. Think about: Background Colors Transitions Your text is limited and useful. Your font is easy to read. Obviously there are no spelling / grammatical errors The animations are not over done, just enough to add to your presentation without being a distraction. You have added your own narration to help sell your product. Imagine you are actually in the presentation, this is what you should be saying. The music you choose is simply for background effect. Important: do not simply read what is written on your slides This is where you can take your presentation from good to great. Your short video needs to add to your presentation and obviously be related to your product. Im okay with it not being the exact product (i.e. if you could only find a video for Chevy but you are promoting Dodge) IP10 Mr. Mellesmoen 2014
