Instructions for COVID-19 Testing

Visit oc.care.ambrygen.comYou can use any internet browser on a mobile or laptop device.

Click “Get Started” to complete your account sign up, and answer a short questionnaire

Choose how to get your test kit. You have two options:Pick up a kit at a local community clinic. A list of nearby pickup sites is provided here: OCHCA website.

Follow the kit instructions to provide your saliva sampleBe certain not to eat, drink or chew anything for 30 minutes prior to collecting your sample.

Submit your sample for testing. You have two options:Drop off the kit at a local community clinic. It can be the same clinic at which you picked up the kit, or another one from the list on the OCHCA website.

Mail the kit directly to the testing laboratory using the FedEx prepaid label included in the kit.

Have a kit mailed to your home. Most people receive their kit within 24-48 hours.

When your results are ready, you will receive an email from Customer CARE at Ambry GeneticsLog into your CARE portal to view your results. Results are typically available 24-48 hours after your sample reaches the lab. If your results show that you have COVID-19, you will be contacted by a healthcare provider at PWN Health.*
