1. Log into Inquiry using your username, password, client code

2. Click the words “Dictation Sent” under the Workflow Summary section…..(right hand side of the screen)

3. On the left hand side of the screen under the heading “Actions” you will see a speaker icon that says ‘dictation’ below the icon

INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING URGENT FILES DONE

1. Log into Inquiry using your username, password, client code

2. Click the words “Dictation Sent” under the Workflow Summary section…..(right hand side of the screen)

3. On the left hand side of the screen under the heading “Actions” you will see a speaker icon that says ‘dictation’ below the icon

!

4. Click the speaker icon to listen to the audio…….once the correct audio file has been found, mouse over the speaker icon and make a note of the “transcription number”

PLEASE NOTE – if the doctor has dictated more than one letter on the audio file, please email us the time point in the audio file where the urgent letter begins.

1. Open up the letter in the “viewer mode”

To delete or invalidate a letter:

1. Open up the letter in the “viewer mode”

2. In the viewer click the “Info” icon on the top toolbar

3. Click the drop down list on the heading “Change To”: (top left)

4. Select “Invalidated” and then press “save & close” (top right)

5. The letter will now be invalidated.

6. Please read the comment carefully as it will guide you to what needs fixing

7. Patient name – if the patient name needs fixing please ensure its also fixed in the body of the letter.

8. Referring doctors and CC’s

To add another referring doctor or CC, click on the “add associate” icon on the toolbar – scroll all the way to the end and fill in the details needed.

Instructions on using the Insync application on your mobile

1. Install the app from the app store (search Emdat mobile in the app store)…tap to launch it.

2. You will then need to login……your login details have been sent in the “letter review instructions”

3. Once you have logged in click on “settings”…..at the bottom of the screen
