The Professional Development Center is responsible for:Promoting professional development for all Triton College

employees to enhance organizational effectiveness and positively impact our students and community

Implementing and coordinating human resources activities Activities include:

The Marketing Department is responsible for:

The overall coordination and centralization of college marketing, including public relations, media relations, creative services, and video production.

Develop and implement creative strategies that will generate a greater awareness of Triton College as a quality educational institution with many resources for the citizens of its district.

Activities include:

Develop an annual marketing plan for the college.

Collaborate with student services, enrollment services, and other college divisions to enhance the marketing portion of the registration process.

Develop a college campus look and feel by evaluating photos and messages throughout the campus, replacing them, and updating them frequently.

Continue to enhance the web and bring it to a level that meets the needs of all prospective students and community members.

The Grants Department is responsible for:

Providing overall leadership for the institution in the area of grant development.

Activities include:

Increasing state, regional and national visibility of Triton College as leading competitor in grant awards

Integrating grants support into the institutional plans, particularly related to facilities, human resources, academic support and technology

Identifying, collecting and distributing grant opportunities to appropriate staff and faculty as well as facilitating and securing those grants for the institution

Identifying methods for utilizing grant monies within the general revenue; and identify budget deficits that might be addressed and supplemented through outside funding
