This document provides step by step instructions for installing the dotEPUB bookmarklet on the Safari browser on the iPad.TRANSCRIPT
Adding the ePub Bookmarklet1. Make sure that you have the Bookmarks Bar turned on. To do this go to Settings -
Safari - Always Show Bookmarks Bar - Turn to on.
2. Open up Safari. Go to www.dotepub.com . This will allow you to create a document with the format: EPUB.
3. Scroll down under where it says Bookmarklet for iPhone, iPod Touch & iPadUncheck the box that says immersive mode so that you can get images and links when applicable. Long press and click select all and then copy.
4. Click on the Action button and click on Bookmark. Make sure that you select Bookmarks Bar at the bottom and then save.
5. Open your Bookmarks by clicking on the open book.
6. Click on bookmarks bar and then edit. Then click on the arrow > beside dotEPUB.
7. In the first box delete the stuff that says “download any webpage...” Just leave the words dotEPUB. In the second box click on it and delete the http://dotepub.com/. Long press and paste the code that you copied earlier.
8. Click bookmarks bar and then click done. Now your bookmarklet has been installed!
