1. About this Manual
1.1 Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application Infrastructure Overview
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application Infrastructure (OFSAAI) is an analytical
application platform which has been architected to be multi-tiered and open-systems compliant.
OFSAAI is fully web-enabled. It’s a 100% thin-client, browser-based interface with zero foot print
which dramatically reduces the cost of application deployment. All OFSAAI processes, including
those related to business, are metadata-driven, thereby providing a high degree of operational and
usage flexibility, and a single consistent view of information to all users.
OFSAAI product suite includes a rules-framework designer engine, Unified Metadata Manager
which has a semantic layer of metadata abstraction that is common over both relational and OLAP
repositories.
1.2 Analytical Applications Overview
The Oracle Financial Services Operational Risk Economic Capital v2.1 application provides
the bank with a complete view of the capital required for Operational Risks that it carries as
compared to the amount of accounting capital it actually has. The OREC application comes pre-
configured with Rules, Models, DTs, Runs and reports required for computing Operational Risk at
the individual exposure as well as the bank level.
1.3 Audience
This manual is meant for use by the OFSAAI Application System Administrator who plays an
integral part in installing the Oracle Financial Services Operational Risk Economic Capital Release
2.1 Application.

grant alter session to ATOMIC_USER with admin option;
grant create user to ATOMIC_USER with admin option;
grant drop user to ATOMIC_USER with admin option;
grant create synonym to ATOMIC_USER with admin option;
grant create view to ATOMIC_USER with admin option;
grant create sequence to ATOMIC_USER with admin option;
grant create table to ATOMIC_USER with admin option;

The OFS OREC v2.1 Sliced Data Model Oracle (Erwin 7.x)-V6.0 must be successfully
uploaded in both the Information Domains.
Create a table setupinfo in Config schema. The corresponding create table script is
mentioned as follows:
create table SETUPINFO
(
PARAMNAME VARCHAR2(100),
PARAMVALUE VARCHAR2(250),
APPNAME VARCHAR2(250),
DSNID VARCHAR2(250),
APPVERSION VARCHAR2(250),
PATCHVERSION VARCHAR2(250),
PATCHDATE DATE
)
NOTE:
The Data Model is available in the CD under <Data Model>.
Create Application –OREC
Create the following data sources: OREC & OR_OREC as RDBMS Sources – pointing to
the respective production infodom atomic databases to hold the T2T Definitions.
Map the data source OREC & OR_OREC to OREC application. Generate the source
model. For more information refer to the Data Integrator User Manual.
All OFSAAI Servers must be shut down.
Oracle 11G services must be running.
You must have the following information available and handy before you start the installation:
The FTP share path as configured in OFSAAI Release 7.2.11.
The name of the Information Domain in OFSAAI Release 7.2.11 into which the OFS
OREC v2.1 Sliced Data Model Oracle (Erwin 7.x)-V6.0 data model has been uploaded.

)
Insert a record in setupinfo table with the following values:
APPNAME = OREC
DSNID = the corresponding infodom id where the OREC application is already
installed.
APPVERSION = the version number of the OREC application already installed.
The new data model should be manually merged with the OFS OREC v2.0 Data Model and
then incremental upload of the data model should be performed.
NOTE:
The Data Model is available in the CD under <Data Model>.
Create Application –OREC
