1. SelectthecorrectOrifice(B)foryourapplicationfromTable 2and,usinga3/8"wrench,installitintotheOrificeFittingElbow(A)retainedfromthedisassemblysequence.DONOTuseanincorrectorifice.

2. InstalltheOrificeFittingElboww/OrificebackintotheVenturiAirShutter,pointingrearwards.

3. Attachtheassemblyofitems(K),(F),(L),and(G)totheManualValve(J),orientedasshowninFigure 3. Use pipe dopeonthreadedconnections.OMITTHEREGULATOR(L)andoneNipple(F)ifthisisanLPburner.

4. Usinga9/16"wrench,attachtheManualTubeAssembly(C)totheManualValve(J)asshowninFigure 3.

5. FeedtheTubeAssemblythroughthefront-mostholeintheburnerlegasshowninFigure 4.

6. AttachtheValveBracket(I)totheburnerlegusinga5/16"hexdriverandtwo#10x1/2"Screws(E).

7. AttachoppositeendofTubeAssembly(C)totheOrificeFittingElbow(A)usinga9/16”wrench.

8. Usinga1/4"hexdriverandtwo#8x3/8"Screws(D),attachthePilot(M)totheburnerbaseasshowninFigure 3.

9. AttachthePilotLinetotheValveusinga3/8"wrench,andtheThermocoupleLinetothevalveusinga5/16"wrench,asshowninFigure 4.

10. NeatlyarrangethePilotandThermocoupleLinesbehind the burner.

11. Attachlightinginstructionplatetorearholeinburnerlegusingincludedlengthofchain.

12. Returnburnerassemblytofireplace.13. ConnectgaslinetoBrassFlareElbow(G).14. Compoundsusedonthreadedjointsofgaspiping

shallberesistanttotheactionofliquefiedpetroleumgases.Thegaslinesmustbecheckedforleaksbytheinstaller.Testingforleaksonallexposedconnectionsshouldbedonewithleaktestsolutionorasoapsolution.Aftertestingiscomplete,allsolutionshouldbecleanedoff.Onunexposedconnections,apressuretestshouldbemade.Neveruseanexposedflametocheckforleaks.Burnermustbedisconnectedfrompipingatinletofcontrolvalveandpipecappedorpluggedforpressuretest.Neverpressuretestwithfireplaceconnected;controlvalvewillsustaindamage!
