1. Prerequisites Note: Make sure that no clients are logged on to the server during the

installation unless you want to execute a standalone installation.

Only a system administrator can perform an installation. Before you start the installation, log on to your system as administrator.

2. ElsaWin Installation Log on to the server or single PC as an administrator. Insert the ELSA setup CD into the CD drive and perform the following steps: Choose the “Start” button in the Windows start list. In the start menu choose <Execute>. Enter: R:\setup.exe (R:\ is your CD drive) and then finish by pressing “Enter”.

Click “Next”

Click the “OK” button

Choose the installation language.

Complete the fields with the appropriate information

Check whether the information is correct

Choose the “Yes” button to confirm

Choose the corresponding reference media

Then click the “OK” button

If you do not have the final code, click the “Close” button.

If you have a “final code”, enter it and click the “OK” button. You can also do this in the ElsaWin Administration at a later point in time.

3. Setting up the DC/importer number and dealer number

Select the administrator and right-click to call up the menu. Click “Edit user”

Click the “Companies” button

Enter the DC/importer number and the dealer number

Use the “Add” button to accept the entries

If you select “Default company” you get an error message that you confirm with “Yes”

You can now enter additional companies. Note! There can only be one default company.

Select “Company” 000-00000 and delete it

4. Creating/deleting a new “user”

Setting up a user:

Complete the “white” fields with the appropriate information. The “Surname” is also entered as the user name, but the user name can be changed. Once you have filled out the form, click “Next”

Choose “Services” – “Set up users” from the menu

Click “Next”

This is where you specify whether the “user” is an ElsaWin Administrator

Complete the fields with the appropriate information. Once you have filled out the form, click “Next”

Enter your DC/importer number and dealer number. Once you have filled out the form, click “Next”

If you have several DC/importer numbers and/or dealer numbers, you can use “Apply” to assign them to this user. Note! There can only be one default company.

Check whether the information is correct

Click “Next”

Click “OK” to confirm

Confirm this by choosing the “Create” button

Delete user:

Select the user and right-click to call up the menu. Click “Delete user”

Click “OK” to confirm

5. Code request

Choose “Services” - “Code” – “Code request” from the menu

Here, you can print out the “code request” or enter a “final code”. Click the “Close” button to keep using ElsaWin. If you enter a final code, you must click “OK” to confirm.
