Create an Schema for SAP BO (bo_repo)

Now you need create a Schema for Sap Business Objects, you need open MySQL Workbench, when you open this, you need have doublé click over Local Instance

Now you can put the password or Root user of MySQL

For create the Schema you need have right click over the white space below SCHEMAS and click Create Schema.

Now you need put the name of the Schema, in your case id bo_repo and click on Apply

When MySQL start to apply you will see this window, only click on Apply.

Install SAP Business Objects

You need access to the folder where you have the installer, access to the folder DISK1 and find the setup file, you need have double click over this.

You need select the language and click OK

Restore the BIAR file with Import Wizard Tool

Now, you need restore the BIAR file into your Sap Business Object System, for this you need find the tool Import Wizard, this tool is inside the all programs, Business Object, when you found this, have double click to open.

When you open this tool, you will see this window, only click on Next

In this window you need select the source environment to import, in your case you need select the option Business Intelligence Archive Resource (CIAR) file and select the path of the BIAR file.

In this window, you need put the user and password of your Sap Business Objects system. Then click next.

Restore the database in your MySql Server

Open MySQL Workbench

When you star MySQL Workbench in he left side you see the option Data Import/Rertore, you need click on this option

Now in the right panel you see the Data Import setting, in this part you need select the second option Import from Self-Contained File and you need find the patch of the SQL file to restore, then click on Start Import.

If everything it’s ok, you will see this message, that message indicate the process finish correctly.

Create an ODBC connection to tananizia_school data base

You need create an ODBC connection, in this case you can write ODBC on start menu, you will see two option, you need open the 32-Bit Data Source (ODBC)

When you open this you see this window, only need click on Add

You need find the MySQL ODBC 5.3 ANSI Driver and click on Finish

Now you need fill all parameters, you need put the name of the Data Source, Description, Server, port, user and password, when you put all information you can select the Database, then click on OK

Change the connection of the Universe Tanzania SIS

You need find the tool Designer in all programs, business objects folder.

When you open this tool, you will see this window, only put the user and password then click on OK.

When you open the Designer tool you need import a Tanzania SIS Universe, you need click on file then next on Import Universe option.

Now you will see this window, you need select a path of the Universe, click on Browse and select the webi universes folder then click OK

In this window you will see all Universe you click on Tanzania SIS then click OK

This process import and open the Tanzania SIS universe, only click on OK

When you see open the Universe you need change the connection of the universe, you need click on icon parameters

Now you will see this window, in this window you need click on New…

In this window only click on Next

In this window, you need put the Connection Name, and you need find the Sun option, and MySQL 5 and ODBC Drivers, then click on Next.

In this window you need select the Data source name previously created in ODBC 32bits tool then click on Next.

Now you need save the Universe and Export into webi-universe folder, you need click on file, and Export Universe option.

In this window only click on OK, this process update the universe in side Sap Business Objects.

Copy folder DOC inside webapps folder on this path (c:\program files(x86)\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\) Now you need copy the folder DOC insede webapps folder, only drag and drop or copy and paste.

Modify the view_1.jsp file, change the name of the machine, the name of user, and the ip of the

machine

Copy the files of the web portal and web service inside the folder htdocs, only drag and drop or copy and past into the htdocs folder (C:\xampp\htdocs)

Change the URL to the report, you need open the file menu_html_block2.js, this file is in the

path (C:\xampp\htdocs\tanzaniaSIS\js) and change the actual public IP or domain with the new

public IP o domain.

Change the MySQL user and password in the webservice file, this file is in this path (C:\xampp\htdocs\tz_schools\JSONaINSERT_v2.php)
