Tenyears ago, while Iwas sellingReal Estate Advertising at TheRecord, I got an invitation fromone of my clients to get my realestate license and join theirbrokerage. So, I did just thatand never looked back.A few years later, when my businessgot a little too busy to handle onmy own, I asked my husband Rogerto join me and that is when welaunched “The Red Carpet Crew”.We wanted a team name thatdidn’t contain our own names, butsomething that reflected the type ofservice we offer our clients.
Prior to selling real estate, Rogerhad over 25 years of experience asa custom woodworker and he stillhas a renovations business which heappropriately named “Red CarpetRenovators”. Roger’s skills aresome of the absolute best in theregion. His ability to envision whatcould be is a real asset to buyerswho sometimes need a little helppicturing how they could make thehouses we’re showing them into thehome of their dreams. He is alsoable to help sellers who need to doa few things to make their homesmore marketable prior to listing.
A third agent was added to our teamlast year to ensure that our clientsalways have someone availablefor them, and we have a full-timeassistant to keep us all on track.
While our business is growing, weare committed to always providingour clients with our signature RedCarpet service.
I have been proudly working underthe Century 21 banner since dayone, and last year I invested in thebrokerage and became one of thepartners. I believe in community, teamwork, making a difference in thelives of those around me, and doingeverything I do with excellence.
Our new “boutique-style” TeamOffice, which opened in June ofthis year, truly reflects the type ofquality we have built our businesson. Featuring Roger’s beautifulwoodworking, my interior décorand pieces from local artists, it trulyfeels more like a home than anoffice. We are located in Midtown, half way between Westmount andBelmont. Give me a call if you’d liketo talk about our services and howwe can help you with any of yourfuture plans.

182 GRAND SEPTEMBER I OCTOBER 2018
The space called The Factory gets the glory at Lot 42. It’s certainly what drew us to do our fashion shoot there.
The Factory is an impressive open area that leaves no doubt what the space once was, even after being converted to handle a wide range of uses. The extended yellow jib cranes and original factory windows helped give us our desired feel of an industrial setting to act as a contrast to the stylish furniture and clothing taking centre stage.
The large windows have varying degrees of green shading due to a mural painted on the outside of the building.
But there’s more to the Lot 42 Global Flex Campus than The Factory, which has hosted
food and beverage shows, Communitech’s True North tech conference and a Kane Brown con-cert with an audience of 4,000 people.
Along with spaces that can host events of vary-ing sizes, businesses such as The Athlete Fac-tory and Let’s Dance call Lot 42’s campus home.
There’s also B Hospitality, which is establishing a commercial kitchen for catering operations at the front of the facility, located at 41 Ardelt Pl. in Kitchener.
Lot 42 will next month be a popular destination for many people as it becomes Oktoberfest’s main festhall, as well as hosting Oktoberfest’s gala, fashion show and Women of the Year events.
A guide to some of the products and services featured in this issue.
