Absentee Bidding To place a confidential absentee bid prior to the event, contact 604-681-5268x237

Silent Auction Bidding Bidding will close at approximately 10:45pm at the event. To make a bid, a bidder shall print legibly their name and bid number on the bid sheet. Bidding increments are noted on the bid sheet.

Live Auction BiddingUpon arrival at the event all guests will receive a bid paddle. Items will be auctioned in the lot order in which they appear in this catalogue. During the auction, bids must be made with an assigned bid paddle number.

Tax 7% PST is applicable to all final bids.

Payment Payment by successful bidders must be made immediately after the auction’s end. Arts Umbrella accepts cheque (payable to Arts Umbrella), cash, Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Applicable taxes will be added to the final bid. Auction items will not be released to the buyer until payment has been received in full.

Charitable Tax Receipt Auction buyers will receive a charitable tax receipt for the difference between the value and the final bid only if the final bid exceeds 125% of the value of the item.

The Fine PrintAny bid entered is binding. All sales are final. No purchase can be returned, refunded or exchanged. All property is sold as exhibited. Arts Umbrella is not responsible for acts or omissions of carriers or packers. If a dispute arises after the auction, the Arts Umbrella record of the auction proceedings shall be conclusive. Each auction item carries an estimated market value obtained from sources that Arts Umbrella believes to be reliable, but no representation or warranty as to the actual resale value of any work being auctioned is made or implied. The estimated value is intended as a guide to assist you in your bidding.
