What is the problem

• People in Bangladesh don’t eager to pay tax by themselves for several reasons-

Lack of awareness Weak tax administration Corruption Lack of confidence on public

expenditure by government Trend of evading tax by rich

What is the problem

• Government taking lots of steps like digitalization of tax system, iTIN, tax fair etc.

• Citi people are becoming aware and paying tax but town/rural’s able people are not interested yet

Proposed Financial Solution

• To inspire people of a town to pay tax-1. Firstly tax agency will assess how

much tax can be collected from that area

2. The development agencies prioritize one development project which is mostly need by that community like health complex, educational institute, road etc

3. Government can assess the cost of development project to accomplish

4. If people of that town/community pay 90-95% of assumed total tax, then government with aid agency/private sector will fund the development project.
