Plots written within the horror genre often involve the intrusion of an evil force, event, or personage, commonly of supernatural origin, into the everyday world.

The movies “CABIN FEVER” and “ THE BRIDE OF CHUCKY” has a target audience from the age of 15years upwards.

It specifically for this age group because of the theme used which was about teenagers.

SCENES FROM CABIN FEVERThe camera shot for this scene is a mini close up shot of his face to demonstrate fear, disgust and anxiety to the audience.

It has a high pitch music with a base drum beat which sounds like a heart beat as it makes the movie a suspense for the audience and gets them glue to their seats.

SCENES BRIDE OF CHUCKY

The camera shot of this movie is a bit of close up shot because it makes the audience guess what is about to happen next.

The music in this scene was a high pitch which makes it seem more scary but fades away in few seconds time in other for the character to perform the rite for her groom.

This scene has an extreme shot of the two characters and it was shot from a high angle making them look small and low. It also gives the audience a sense of what is going on at that moment. There was a still shot at that moment.The music at this scene was very normal as it was the atmosphere of love but later high pitched to illustrate the sense of danger to the audience.

LIGHTING, PROPS AND COSTUME FROM CABIN FEVER

In this scene the lighting was very dime which makes it more scary because it emphasis death, danger and fear. It creates suspense to the audience as they don’t know what is going to happen next.

The props of this movie is very disturbing for the audience as it has disgusting images of blood everywhere. It also shows a man lying on the floor with gun and other weapons with him.

The movie has some kind of old fashioned humour to it which makes it more entertaining and interesting to the audience.

Both of these movies has a slow pace throughout the scenes which makes it more scary for the audience.

1. Horror movies always involve a group of teenagers escaping their everyday lives.( adventure/ trip)

2. It always have a villian and a killer.

3. Bad things always happen,e.g killing, torture and pain.

4. Horror always have murder in it.

5. Gore which is blood, cuts and human body parts.

6. It has problems that get out of control. Example lost in a forest or a deadly disease.
