J une started off with a boom we have been so busy! The Seniors Make a Difference club has been work-ing so hard on all the stuff for the Alzheimer’s fundraising Carnival. They have been making signs, deco-rating pictures, wrapping buckets for prizes, shopping, making gift baskets, etc. They are so dedicated to

making this carnival successful. We have also had a lot of family support with this fundraiser. I would like to thank Ray, Debbie G.’s sister, for helping to purchase a lot of the items for this event. Thank you so much! Also, a big thank you to Debbie, Doris P.’s daughter, for working with us and the Mayfield Village Parks and Recrea-tion Department. I also want to thank Lisa, Carol S.’s daughter, for helping us get all the games we need for the Carnival. You guys are amazing people, and we all appreciate your help. Thank you again, from everyone here at Governor’s Village.

We had fun going to lunch and a movie at Richmond Mall. Every-one enjoyed their meal. We watched two differ-ent movies; the ladies all loved theirs, and the men said theirs was ‘so-so.’ We also went shop-ping and out to lunch at Willoughby Brewing Company. The food was spectacular. Bernadette I. found some beautiful jewelry at Target. Joan T. also found some nice

pieces of jewelry. Andrea M. was able to find a couple of nice outfits. Everyone enjoys the day out shopping.

Our Father’s day Backyard BBQ was a hit! Everyone said how great the ribs turned out. They truly enjoyed their meals and the time they got to spend with their fathers. Time is what is most important and the memo-ries we get to make.

Our garden is growing like crazy; it has grown two feet in a week. It’s amazing what sun-shine and rain can do. Debbie G. was already able to harvest some green onions. So until next month . . .
