Tom Odell Another Love The Time lapse long shot occurs throughout, meaning its a one shot video. We wish to use time lapse of similar appearance within our music video.Alt J Breezeblocks uses the bathroom and a dark blue filter throughout, we plan on using both in our final production.

Hozier Take me to church contains a detailed fire shot, in which we wish to use as a symbolic prop within our music video.

After textually analyzing the 1975s Robbers, I realized that the locations within the video are effective in achieving the narrative and are thus inspirational to our own final music video. The time of day, weather and scenery within this video, all act as an inspiration as well.

This Clip of Rhianna leaving her boyfriend who is evidently under the influence of drugs and alcohol, has inspired us to begin our music video with a woman leaving her partner ( Portrayed by Matt Rose) because of a similar reason. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg00YEETFzg

Props and CostumeInspiration. The main character within our music video ( Portrayed by Matt Rose) will be wearing clothes only of the colours black, white and red. On the Other hand, the main characters love interest ( Olivia Halpin) will adopt a Indie 90s attire look, with vibrant oversized shirts.

Target Audience According to NME Magazine, the target audience for Indie/Alternate Rock genre ranges from 16-25, with predominately male viewers. This statistic incorporates our peers and our own age, so we will complete a survey regarding the contents of our video, that will be answered by the exact audience we wish to target within our video.

Why have we chosen this genre?We have chosen this genre because as a group, we believe our own technical and creative skills fit this genre more than any other. We like to focus on controversial narratives with a emphasis on Mise-en-scenic elements like costume and props. We have discovered this from the success of the production of our Bloodstream video in the summer. The locations within the genre are more accessible, then say a pop music video which usually is set in exotic locations like beaches. This was another factor that inclined us to adopt the Indie Rock Genre for our music video. Our personal tastes also influenced our choice of genre, because as a group we preferred the style, lyrics and narrative from Indie Rock music videos.
