Insp.Inspiration

of all the woldin my point of view

It’s just back street of my university. But if you just stand for one second, you can find small prescence, and if you stand for more than one second, you can realize how price-less they are.

[Insp] is an abbreviation of ‘Inspiration’. I first use

this words when I was a freshman and try to make

group to share their funny but special thinking. At

that time, I missed my passion and failed it, but now

I want to start from small zines.

When I was young, I like to ask question “why?”

because all the world is interesting to me. In this

zines, I want to share what I see and how I think

toward the world . I hope people to sympathize with

me and have fun.

I will treat food, clothing, shelter[a place to live]

and enjoyment, the necessities of life. And each

of themes delivers interesting story in my point of

view. It’s just a small writing now but as time goes by

it will be a one book which is full interesting story.

In Korea, There is a proverb “Licorice of pharmacy

(약방의 감초)”. It means things which should be there

on any day. (It’s similar with positive meaning of

the idiom, jack of trades.) This world is from Chi-

nese. In Chinese, licorice(one of medicine) must be

in pharmacies because many cases need licorice .

In this week, I want to introduce licorice in each

themes and think about their values. Because our

society also needsv people who plays role like a

licorice.

do their own work well, it will be a great tools for

someone and when there are lots of people who know

the value of this small presence, It will come out.

If you look at the spoon for a long time, you can find trace of life.

A spoon from my mother

Baby just eat one more time. But one more time

will be a bowl of rice. This is lovely trick that my

mother used to use when I hate to eat meal. With

small tool my mother easily fed me. And also

there are delicious side dishes on each spoons, so I

expected what is next. (I liked spam.) I have sweat

story about spoon and when I eat food, spoon is

always be there and remind me my childhood.

The value of the spoon

When a baby first starts to chew they eat the food

from the teaspoon. He accepts nutrients in food,

mother’s love over the little spoon. Also on spoon

there are lots of food to be raised, Kimchi , eggs,

meat and etc. The combination of nutrition is on

the spoon. We can think about the great presence

of spoon as a helper to eat food.

Small but priceless tool

“Licorice of pharmacy” is not a special thing, As

they do their own work well, it will be a great tools

for someone and when there are lots of people

who know the value of this small presence, It will

come out.

Power of making harmony

As a licorice , alcohol is really good at make

harmony. And this harmony makes people

belong together and create fantastic music.

People, also, who mix well and be harmonized

with others in everywhere like alcohol , will be

a host of everywhere and great maestro in the

orchestra of society.

But, it only worth it when people drink in

moderation, not too much.

Alcohol’s Effect

MUSIC

Singing a song When there is an alcohol, music is always in there or ready to be there.

By combining bottle of Soju with spoon, it can be the most instant, effective MIC.

The combination of alcohol and music

When relatives drink together in festival day,

My uncle always combined a bottle of soju with

a spoon. Quick MIC is made. So  it’s time to start

singing a song. Then they were now one singer

and big fan of him and enjoyed the music for a

couple of hours. This Korean style MIC shows that

music and alcohol are connected deeply .This in-

novative simple invention has a miraculous power

to make people belong together. The combina-

tion of music and alcohol has been happened

for a long long time ago. Alcohol is not an music

instrument but when there is music and amuse-

ment, Alcohol is always there or always ready to

be there. With liquid people can get along and

have fun together.

Maestro of Harmony

As a licorice , alcohol is really good at make

harmony. And this harmony makes people belong

together and create fantastic music. Also people,

who mix well and be harmonized with others

in everywhere like alcohol , will be a host of

everywhere and great maestro in the orchestra of

society.

Good afternoon. In fact, I ‘m resident here . I really like your shoues and really glad to see you right here .

Good afternoon. This is SUARTE, which special-

izes in leather shoes and we have 12 offices

include Mapo store.

What is hand made shoes for the man?

Handmade shoes made from hands of the

craftsman. Literally created their own custom

shoes for their own feet. In fact, man’s shoes are

the means for their identity . Women shoes are

more diverse than man’s but man’s are not. So

they bought their own handmade shoes which

reflect themselves.

You have craftman to make shoes ?

Our company is now two craftsmen . They are

professional in treating various leathers and also

good at making high-quality shoes.

Korean craftsman.. ?

I’ve been to fashion show in Paris last year

and I felt that Korea’s technique is competi-

tive enough. Craftsmanship is not based on

traditional location, it’s from his philosophy and

technique. In handmade leather shoes, It’s more

valuable not only just make shoes with high-

quality material from Italy but also have our own

philosophy of shoes and sensitive skills.

Compared to European luxury brands what

is Korea’s strength?

Italian luxury brand shoes are classic so we

cannot find the variety . On the other hand, in

the case of our country we have flexibility to do

other experiment. So we can approach shoes

in different ways. In fact, I’m now wearing

new shoes with different material. It’s infinite

strength of Korean to make challenge.

Value of scarcirty at night, 24-hours Convenience Store

Hero At Night

Super heroes such as 24-hours

convenience stores in Seoul have

value of scarcity and this makes

him powerful and impressive

even though the status makes him

lonely. Not only 24-hour conve-

nience store, but also other things

from some stuff to all the living

things has to get their own scar-

city to make themselves unique

and worthful. 

SEOUL

Seven Eleven at1am Mapo Store

I will introduce Seoul’s 24-hour convenience

store, a store on the corner of each, always open

except when the staff goes to the bathroom.

This store is always new and fun because they

have various items and also lots of 1 +1 events.

And they have delicious food in each season.

 Why Seoul has lots of 24-hour convenience store?

There is scarcity deepening on time and the

place. When I was a little girl, I experienced

high value of cup noodles on the observatory of

the Alps. It is much valuable then same one in

the supermarket because it is on the top of the

mountain in Switzerland. And people usually

buy it even though it is expensive. (It was weird

at that time but I can understand how it works.

)This is scarcity of a place. Goods have differ-

ent value depending on where they are. And

in  24-hours convenience stores, I can find their

worth at night.

During the day, as usual market, it is just super-

market next door which is little bit expensive. But

when the night comes convenience store is

being super hero of the dark, empty night. For

students who are hungry, they will be a house

of call which sells various food and  for workers

who work till late at night they will serve conve-

nience stuffs. The night needs hero and 24-hour

convenience store will be the man. 

The value of Unique

Super heroes such as 24-hours convenience

stores in Seoul have value of scarcity and this

makes him powerful and impressive even though

the status makes him lonely. Not only 24-hour

convenience store, but also other things from

some stuff to all the living things has to get

their own scarcity to make themselves unique

and worthful.
