Our three-step process to gather accurate and reliable data:Scan Analyze Report

• High resolution capture of allcorroded areas

• Fast surface acquisition to

•increase efficiencyImproved scanningperformance for small featuressuch as pitting

• Featurepipe

detection using real geometry

• Automatically appliedinteraction rules

• Estimated burst pressurecalculation

• Enhanced virtual pit guagecapabilities near welds andobstacles

• Reports include worst-caseprofile and predicted failurepath

• Export to CSV available forfurther analysis

• Mesh export available• Customizable pass/fail criteria• Snapshot tool for 3D reporting

OD ANOMALY ASSESSMENTWe combined our Creaform laser scanner and Pipecheck software to provide extremely accurate (up to 50 micron) andrepeatable results with acquisition speeds up to 80 times faster than manual pit depth gauging.

Corrosion: The Pipecheck corrosion module offers very fast and reliable data processing that generates instant, on-siteresults. In comparison with traditional measurement methods, this software offers accuracy and repeatability that arebeyond expectations.

Mechanical damage: The Pipecheck mechanical damage module has been developed specifically for pipeline mechanicaldamage analysis. This module features numerous key functionalities that increase dent understanding and facilitate thedecision making process.

Corrosion in mechanical damage: Pipecheck software is the one and only solution on the market to offer sophisticatedtools able to extract corrosion depth that is located within a mechanical damage. This confidence will result in lowermaintenance cost and reduced risk of costly failure.

PAUT instruments produce accurate, detailed cross-sectionalpictures of internal structures at fast inspection speeds. PAUT technology uses multiple ultrasonic elements and electronic time delays to create beams that can be focused electronically for fast inspection, full data storage, and multiple angle inspections. PAUT technology provides precise measurement with the most reliable results. PAUT applications include manual and encoded weld scanning. Encoded scans offer extremely accurate sizing of weld flaws along with cross sectional planar views of the entire encoded scan area.

PAUT corrosion mapping systems utilize 64 transducer elements versus conventional corrosion mapping systems, which typically have only one. This provides the accuracy of PAUT with an acquisition speed five times faster than that of conventional systems.

Dig Staking & Excavation SupportTIR can provide accurate and efficient dig site staking based on inline inspection defect mapping coordinates and/or verification by manual chaining.

During excavation, TIR Surveyors can be available to assist in verifying anomaly and target weld locations.

TIR can document the excavation and resulting repair with comprehensive digital as-built documentation.

We have the ability and experience to support pigging or in-line inspection projects anytime, anywhere.

• Above Ground Marker (AGM) GPS surveys (sub-centimeter, sub-decimeter, sub-meter)• Pig Tracking (cleaning, batching, gauging, purging, inline inspection)• Inline Inspection Tool transport, lifting and loading/unloading• Post run pig cleaning and NORM decontamination• Anomaly Dig Staking & As-Built documentation• Excavation Profile Survey• Pipeline Depth of Cover & GPS Centerline Surveys• Pipeline Marker Placement and Installation

Above Ground Marker Survey & DocumentationTIR utilizes proprietary company software to accurately record all AGM survey data.

We have the capability to survey AGM locations using sub-meter, sub-decimeter, or sub-centimeter accuracies.

A comprehensive GPS processing and quality control procedure is performed on each survey project.

Standard and customized reports are available to support client GIS needs including PODS and ESRI.

Lifting & Tool Transport To complement our pig tracking services, experienced ILI support crews are utilized to provide operators and ILI companies with comprehensive lifting and transport services. This allows pipeline operators to single source many different tasks (AGM survey, pig tracking, tool lifting, tool cleaning, and NORM waste management). In turn, TIR uses cross-trained personnel to minimize the number of crew members on site, saving money.

We can hotshot inspection tools and equipment to and from the job site and provide in-field transport of equipment from one job site to another. Third party rental lifting equipment is utilized to allow TIR to provide services across the US.

TIR can supply certified equipment operators to handle all types of in-line inspection tools. Our crew coordinates with the pipeline operator and inline inspection tool technicians to position the tool and tray at the launch site. TIR will safely position the inspection tool in the launch barrel. Following the run, TIR will remove the tool from the receiver and place it on the transport vehicle.

Tool Cleaning & Waste ManagementTIR is licensed to perform Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) decontamination of pipeline tools. We provide a temporary containment tray with barriers and all supplies required to contain the waste water from tool cleaning.

Our crews are trained and certified in the safety and handling of NORM contaminated equipment and NORM waste. Tool cleaning crews consist of a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) and trained and certified decontamination technicians. This service meets all state and DOT regulations.
