Geopolitical Challenges Sudan Unstable Government( Civil War /Military Actions in Major

Cities) Port Issue – Frequent Strikes/ Closure , restriction in port

operations. Huge Currency Fluctuation

Senegal Peanuts stand to be one of the major politically Influenced

commodity leading to frequent and unprecedented change in Govt. policies and change in domestic and Export Pricing.Eg: Introduction of Export Tax in 2017

Logistical Issue

• Limited options for Shipment • Higher Transit Time .• Vessel availability

Price factor plays important role today.

Africa is competitive with price due to which they have preferences in oil crushing market in China and Edible markets in Indonesia.

Too some extent Indian local demand growth and Higher Support price for In-shell Peanuts from Government is helping African origin to acquire certain Part of share of Indian Export.

Most important African origin like Sudan and Senegal have Preferential duty in China making them Preferred Partners for China market.
