SENSES is the debut collection from Hong Kong-based designer Ines Klim. Made entirely out of fine silk, the collection was inspired by the travels, memories, smells and beautiful moments of days spent in paradise... Times that we wish to remember forever, and indulge in again and again... SENSES is dedicated to women who have spread their wings and discovered amazing places across the globe, women who can travel with just a grab bag yet still look like they flew first-class all the way. The feel of delicate silk on sun-kissed skin is truly sensational, an elusive je ne sais quoi that makes every woman feel sexy, feminine and very sensual.

The signature aspect of the SENSES collection is its ability to be feel effortlessly light and airy, while still maintaining a strong visual impact through vibrant colours and intense, unique prints. Special attention is put into the cut of each garment, with a minimum of stitching used in order to showcase the beauty of silk in its purest form. The majority of designs are cut on the bias which allows the garment to naturally follow the body shape and, importantly, flatter the figure in all sizes. Additionally the figure in all sizes. Additionally the deliberate use of 5% spandex in a small number of styles gives certain pieces an edge of extra stretchability, maximising comfort.

To ensure the longevity of your SENSES resortwear, all fabrics are pre-tested in the atelier for general condition and colour-fastness during the washing process, however it is recomended to wash all silk garments by hand in lukewarm water with a specialised delicates detergent. Alternatively, since silk thread is a natural protein just like human hair, you may also wash your clothes in gentle baby shampoo. For safest results, dry cleaning still remains the recommended care option. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Keep away from direct sunlight while drying. Awaken your SENSES...

GRAIN Espresso is the new face of coffee and food in downtown Seminyak. Feauturing our own original coffee blend and an all day breakfast and lunch menu. Starting at 4th March, this cozy coffee shop opens for dinner. Therefore, not only we can get caffeine injection in the morning, we can also experience their tempting dinner menus to close the day.

Asian comfort fare with an Ubud sensibility

Copper Kitchen & Bar is food for and from the soul; food that embraces the depth of Asian culinary tradition and the skill and elan of the contemporary kitchen.

The fare embodies Chef Miles Belfield’s sensibility of keeping things soulful and crafty while paying homage to Ubud’s surroundings. Food is thoughtful, produce sourced locally, and interpreted with nods to Asia while drinks are inspired by the thorough approach of the old world.

A fair share of the organic produce comes from Bisma Eight’s sister property down the road in Bisma Gardens.

The kitchen is headed by Chef Miles Belfield & Shima Drupadi. The bar is manned by Pius Hademore Ebang.

In one of creative director Farah Khan’s most disciplined outings, the colour is star. It is splurged and spared to produce two stark contrasts - but kept uniform through its tailoring.

Pre-Spring/Summer 2015, inspired by pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, is fun and irresistible. Energetic and youthful, it is built around the artist’s work, and the collection never goes below the knee. Appearing only in cropped tops with flushes of wide animation or graphic Mod-length tunics and blouses – it is apparent that the top is king (or queen) here, as Farah Khan advocates a contemporary approach to its line. These are delicious tops to be worn freely with existing items from the woman’s wardrobe. But what about the total look the woman might ask? It will be addressed later in the brand’s main outing. This irreverence might just be the brand’s best takeaway from its study of Lichtenstein’s work.

Main Spring/Summer 2015 is a stunning, dynamic split, of wildly colourful or high-contrast black and white. Where the colours flourish, the story constitutes a voluminous skirt, glamourous strapless gowns, playful evening tops and dresses for both day and night. Boxy art-deco patterns are blocked with linear patterns for immediate eye-catchers. Otherwise the patterns are taken east-west to create an outstanding pair of matching jacket and skirt.

Taking a 180-degree turn to black-and-white territory, the mood is elegant with hits of graphic wow. Similar patterns return with their colour sucked out to create stylish sombreness. Where it is necessary, there’s a tiny splash of turquoise or sea blue for a quiet, measured accent.

Bringing it all together are the shapes that have been runway or commercial hits for the brand – and to see it change intelligently between two colour stories, whether it’s the addition of sleeves for a coloured number, the shortened length of a strapless in black and white, or the use of a circular bottom for a graphic dress, is suggestive of Farah Khan’s design maturity.
