SPRING FAIR NEWSLETTER – MAY 2015

Welcome to the second edition of this year’s 2015

Spring Fair Newsletter, we have lots of exciting

news for you.

Congratulations we have a winner!!

Wow what a response!! We had over 200 wonderful entries for

the 2015 Spring Fair logo comp.

Congratulations to this year’s winner Hayden S from Grade

5/6D

Hayden’s fabulous design will now be seen on all Spring Fair

paperwork and in the wider community on our flyers and

Spring Fair boards.

He will receive a ride wristband for his outstanding efforts.

We are very proud of the effort from everyone who entered

and it certainly was a difficult task choosing the winner.

We had 5 runners up and they were: Chloe O.C (3.4AS), Aiden

B (3.4AS), Indiana C (3/4KD), Cambell S (3.4KD) and Ellia W

(Prep RD). They will each receive a food and drink voucher to

be used at the fair (look out fairy floss stall!!).

Congratulations to Mrs Saliba’s class who had the most entries

with a whopping 52 items. They have all received a chocolate

frog for their efforts!

Thanks to all who entered and look out for Hayden’s design on

billboards around Maroondah.

KEEP IT COMING… WE NEED YOU!!

Have you got a special talent or just want to have fun with some friends?

Do we have Australia’s newest boy or girl band? Then you should be in Warranwood’s Got Talent! Get

your acts together and start practicing!

It could be dancing, singing, magic act, comedy act; it's up to you!! Quick get going……

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to

the pre-loved and plant stalls.

We are still collecting so keep your donations

coming!! You can drop them into the office at any

time!!

You can donate any pre-loved clothing for babies,

kids and adults in any size!! Clothing must be in a

re-saelable condition (no holes, stains, tears and if

possible, ironed for display purposes).

Any spare coat hangers would also be

appreciated and any clothing not sold on the day

will be donated to the Salvation Army.

We are also looking for any pre-loved books,

games, toys and bric-a-brac. Again must be in

good working order and no McDonalds toys or

electrical items.

So start your clean out now!!

Do you have a business? Becoming an official

‘Sponsor’ or ‘Supporter’ is a great way to not

only contribute to the Spring Fair but to also

showcase your product or service to the wider

community. There are many options and levels

Donations We understand that people can be time poor

and busy. Another opportunity is to donate

items or services. These can be used in our

Silent Auction, raffles or for our class stalls e.g.:

food items. Donations can also be of a

monetary value and can go towards

supporting various attractions and events at

the Spring Fair. Every little bit helps.

New for 2015, have a game

of soccer in a bubble ball!

Minimum age 5. There are 4 ball sizes to choose from.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

Make sure you have a go at the basketball and soccer shootouts. These attractions can be found in the community section on the day.

Nothing like throwing

yourself at a wall! Age 5 to adult.
