Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 observed at

NBKRIST

Vigilance Awareness Week 2018 was celebrated in

the college as per CVC guide lines from 29th October 2018 to

3rd November 2018. The Pledge of Integrity was administered

by the Chief Guest, the Manager, Andhra Bank, Vidyanager in

the presence of the Director and the Faculty Members on 2nd

November 2018. All the Faculty Members, Students and Staff

Members attended the program.

The Nobel Prize in chemistry has been awarded to Frances Arnold “for the directed evolution of

enzymes” and Greg Winter and George P. Smith “for the phage display of peptides and antibodies.”

The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Congolese doctor Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad, a Yazidi human rights activist from Iraq, for their work to end sexual violence as a weapon of war.

was celebrated with utmost zeal and enthusiasm in

the department on 15th September. Tributes were

paid to Sri Visveswaraya. Students from various

engineering colleges were invited as part of the

celebrations to ensure overall diversity and

vibrancy. Heads of different departments gave their

valuable suggestions. Head of Mechanical

Engineering Department presided over the function.

Civil engineering association It is passion and customary conducting CEA events

in the Civil Engineering Department every year. It is

started with a grand inauguration. As a part of it,

different events like paper presentations, poster

presentations, builder, jam on various current issues,

technical quiz are conducted on every weekend to

encourage students and bring out their innovative

ideas.

APSSDC Lab Inauguration (18-06-2018) In the CSE

Department

The Department of Computer Science Engineering of N.B.K.R.I.S.T inaugurated the CM’s Skill Excellence Center (Computing Lab) on 18-06-2018. Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) under the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship & Innovation by Govt. of AP initiated this programme. This laboratory is helpful to the students to develop their computational skills.

Celebration of International Day of Yoga

International Day of Yoga, or commonly and unofficially referred to as Yoga Day, is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in 2015. An initiative thing taken by the CSE department to held this to be as beginning level. In this, the faculty of all the respective departments of N.B.K.R.I.S.T has participated in the session and learnt many yoga asana to help to eradicate the stress and maintain a peaceful life.

The department of Computer Science and Engineering of N.B.K.R.I.S.T has organized a one—day workshop on D—Link Networking on 20-08-2018 . Mr S. Suresh Babu, the faculty member of Dept of CSE addresses the students on various areas the network technology spread all over the world. He also gave a perceptive on the future of Networking and it’s specialization. The students are actively participated in the workshop and had learnt many concepts regarding the Networking and it’s concepts in the current trends and upcoming technologies in the world.

The Red Hat Academy MOU inauguration held in the department of Computer Science and Engineering of N.B.K.R.I.S.T on 04-09-2018. Honourable Director Sir of N.B.K.R.I.S.T, The HOD of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Mr. S. Marthu Perumal Sir and the Placement Officer Mr. Kishandhar Sir are there in the moment of MOU distribution. After that the resource person of Red Hat Academy gave a brief introduction about the Linux Operating System and their features and also their Red Hat Linux features and their usage of Learning the Mechanism which help in future aspects.

A three days workshop on Red Hat Linux Operating System is held from 03-10-2018 to 05-10-2018 in the department of Computer Science and Engineering of N.B.K.R.I.S.T. The students of ECE and CSE gave active participation in the workshop to learn the new operating system which will help in their future aspects.
