Public Scavenger HuntsWho comes to a public Urban Capers scavenger hunt? In a word, anybody. Groups of friends, tri-generational families, first dates, 20th anniversary dates, groups of students, meetup groups.Tickets are purchased online at: www.urbancapers.com/tickets. Hunts often sell out in advance, so early booking is required.
Corporate Scavenger HuntsOrganizations use Urban Capers’ scavenger hunts for summer functions, holiday parties and team building events. Our client list is long, but includes high tech, banks, many government ministries, insurance, law and accounting firms.
Murder at the ROM
A murder mystery scavenger hunt where detectives (the players),
scour the Royal Ontario Museum for clues to whodunit. As they
uncover clues, they discover a tale of greed, lust, pride and revenge
and only by deciphering a cryptic code left in the curator’s
appointment book will they solve the mystery.

Secrets of St. Lawrence
Players have two hours to explore Old Town Toronto and the St.
Lawrence Market, uncovering the roots of the city. This hunt
features early Toronto scandals, heroic and villainous media
barons, acts of great courage, epidemics, cross-dressing Irishmen
and marching puritans.

The Great Whisky Heist of the Distillery District
Enter the world of gangsters, bootleggers, crooked cops,
bareknuckle boxers and famous writers as you solve a mysterious
cold case. In 1923, a shipment of whisky went missing from the
Gooderham & Worts Distillery, and recently new evidence has
come to light.

The Mystery of the Mummy’s Curse (at the ROM)
A five-thousand year old Chilean mummy has been discovered and the
archaeologist who uncovered her secrets is dead! Players must help
the police track down the killer before time runs out.

Discover Hidden Toronto
Stroll beside hidden rivers, starwatch in historic Yorkville, and
discover a tiny jail, a gigantic re-gifted present, abolitionists, Prime
Ministers and kings and queens. This hunt winds through Yorkville,
Queens Park, University of Toronto and the Mink Mile.

Haunted Toronto
From the mass graveyard at Yorkville to the insane asylum which now
houses our esteemed members of parliament, to the residences of
some of this country’s founding fathers (some of whom are still
hanging around) players seek out answers to tricky questions while
uncovering the dark side of old Toronto. Bring a flashlight and a steady
nerve.

but it is full of saucy secrets. Scandalous public officials, pioneers of the

legends, and many more show up as you explore LGBT history in the
