BUBBLE GLASS

Microscopic bubbles that form in a material called metallic glass can signal serious trouble. In this normally high-strength material, bubbles may indicate that a brittle breakdown is in progress. When glass is mentioned, many people think of window panes. But to scientists, a glass is a material that is cooled quickly from a liquid to a solid so that its atoms do not arrange themselves into orderly crystal lattices, as most metals do. A nearly random arrangement of atoms gives glasses distinctive mechanical and magnetic properties. Unlike window panes, most metallic glasses are not transparent or easy to break, but they do often spring back to their original shape after being bent. Still, when powerful enough force is applied, they can break.Maybe used for decorative purposes or for partitions in interior spaces or fixture cladding.

FEATHERS

A do-it-yourself wall décor. Feathers needn’t be used only for accessories or ink pens. Thinking out of the box found an application for these feathers as a wall decorative element to add creativity and fun to the interior space.

CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTING WALLPAPER

Ugly and outdated carbon monoxide detectors spoil the aesthetics of an interior space. The invention of the carbon monoxide wallpaper is a perfect fusion of function and design, using modules fixed to paper that can detect VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and actually filter them at the same time.

As the air pollutants accumulate, the modules spin creating the pleasant visual experience, and a warning system at the same time.

WATER BALLOON INSPIRED NEON LIGHTS

Fluorescent neon is a deceiving thing. What appears to be subtle shades instantly change to vibrant luminescent lights in the dark. These stimulating and dizzying lights effects can capture people's attention from a distance.

If it had sensors to switch it on and of it could be made like an interactive element that glows when the person is in front of it or accidently brushes pass it (if installed on a wall).
