    Showcase participants are welcome to bring portable, freestanding signage or table-top displays, as well as table throws. These items should be shipped directly to the hotel to the participant’s attention. The shipping address will be provided. Showcase participants are responsible for getting materials to and from the Showcase area. Siemens will provide an easel sign with the participant’s logo.

    Special Instructions:• Siemens’ participants are not allowed to offer giveaway

    items to conference attendees, other than those items associated with sponsorships. Information flyers or literature are acceptable. However, please bring limited quantities as many times, these items are not utilized and are thrown out after the event. Rather, use this as a follow-up tool to contact Siemens’ customers who show interest after the event. Literature should be shipped directly to the hotel to the participant’s attention. The shipping address will be provided. Participants are responsible for getting materials to and from the Showcase area.

    • Internet access and flat screen monitors will only be provided if requested.

    • Innovations presentations and demonstrations must not display protected health information (PHI). Demonstrators may not access production environments to display live patient information.

    • Final participation will be determined by Siemens in the manner that best suits the goals of the event.

    • Please do not bring floor displays or floor “pop-up” booths. Table-top displays or freestanding portable signs are allowed, but floor displays will not be permitted.

    • Participants are allowed to bring their own table throw with a company logo. Otherwise, a plain table throw will be provided.

    • Sponsors do not receive complimentary showcase space. Sponsorships and Showcase participation are two separate promotional methods and are paid for separately by the participant.

    Showcase Area Opportunity

    Demonstrate a new product or service to a focused group of interested attendees. This presentation area will include large-screen projection and seating for a small group of attendees. Topics must be submitted in advance and approved by Siemens. A schedule of demonstrations/presentations in 15-minute time blocks will be created and circulated to attendees. This option is available to sponsors and showcase participants who contribute a minimum of $4,500 to the Innovations program via their participation in the event.

    Eligibility

    Innovations promotional opportunities are open to industry vendors approved by Siemens whose products and services are related to the healthcare field and are directly of interest to Innovations attendees. Displays, demonstrations, and/or literature should not be in competition with any Siemens applications or products. Siemens, in the exercise of its sole discretion, specifically reserves the right to deny access or reject the application from any vendor.

    Payment Terms

    Applications submitted require 100% payment. Only credit cards are accepted.

    Cancellation Policy

    All cancellations must be received in writing on company letterhead and signed by an official company representative. Companies canceling prior to May, 25, 2015 will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. Companies canceling after May 25, 2015 are required to pay 100% of the contracted price.

    Fifty-Word Description and Company Logo

    Once your participation has been confirmed, you will be asked to provide a description (maximum of 50 words) that describes to the audience your company and the solution your company represents. In addition, you will need to provide a company logo in a high-resolution file in EPS format (TIF and JPG formats allowed, but EPS is preferred) as well as your website address so that this information can be included in promotional materials.

    Review of Material

    All promotional materials must be reviewed by partners for publication or display as part of a sponsorship at Innovations ’15 for Imaging must be reviewed and approved by Siemens prior to the start of the conference. Siemens reserves the right to alter or reject content if it does not meet required standards.

    Badges/Registration

    Participants that have purchased a Showcase space may send up to two (2) company representatives to the conference free of charge. Some sponsorships include complimentary registration also. Please refer to descriptions in this brochure for specific details. Additional badges can be purchased at applicable rates. Once your participation is confirmed, you will receive additional instructions. Badges will be waiting at the on-site Conference Registration Desk. All employees and representatives for the participating company must be fully identified by an official Innovations badge. Conference badges allow access to conference events and functions, including the Showcase, conference meals (breakfast/lunch), educational sessions, networking receptions, and the General Session.

    Hotel Information

    Instructions for making hotel reservations will be provided to participants. Reservation deadline date: July 1, 2015.

    Attire

    Business casual is suitable for all events.

    General

    All matters and questions not covered by the regulations are subject to the decision of Siemens. These regulations may be amended at any time by Siemens. All amendments that may be made shall be equally binding on all parties affected. In the event of any amendment or addition to these regulations, written notice will be given by Siemens to the sponsors affected by them.

    Violations

    Violations of any of these regulations on the parts of the partner or its employees or agents shall, at the option of Siemens, annul the right to participate in Innovations. Such partner shall forfeit all monies paid or due to Siemens. Upon evidence of violation, Siemens may remove all persons and goods at the partner’s risk. The partner shall pay all expenses and damages that Siemens incurs as a result of this action. The partner waives any right to service on written notice of Siemens’ intention to terminate this agreement.

    Sponsorship and Showcase Terms & Conditions

    Siemens Compliance Manual

    Siemens has implemented a Compliance Manual modeled on Office of Inspector General (OIG) guidance and the NEMA and AdvaMed Codes of Ethics. Such guidance is intended to facilitate ethical interactions with individuals and organizations that purchase Siemens products. The Compliance Manual is available on the Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. Internet page (see footnote link) and must be observed by all Innovations participants and partners. The Compliance Manual prohibits gifts/ giveaways of any type, including all non-educational branded promotional items regardless of value.
