This appliance is to be used on temperate climate. Don’t use the apparatus in tropicalclimates.
Where to install the product- Place the product on a straight, rigid and stable place. Do not place the product on a
carpet.- Do not place the product on top or another that may cause overheating (for example,
receiver or amplifier).- Do not place anything underneath the product (for example, CDs or magazines).
Proper ventilation- Place the product in a sufficient ly-aerated place to avoid overheating. Allow at least
10cm spacing at the back and top of the product, and 5cm spacing on both sides toprevent overheating.
- Do not place items such as newspapers, tablecloth, curtains, in front or the ventilatingopenings.
Do not expose the product to high temperatures, moisture, water and dust.- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled
with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus- Do not place other items close to this product that may damage it (for example, an

3.Quick Installation Guide for First Use
(1) Connect the unit to your roof antenna (the antenna cable is not supplied).
(2) Connect the unit to your TV. Depending on your TV, you may do it in several ways:
a:Connect the receiver with an HDMI cable (cable not included).
b:Connect the unit to the TV with a scart cable (cable is not supplied).
c:Other connection possibilities exist. Please refer to the instruction manual for moredetails.
(3) Prepare the remote control. Insert 2 AAA batteries in the remote control followingthe polarities signs (+/-) as indicated (batteries are not provided).
(4) Start the channel installation. At first time use, the automatic installation messagewill appear on screen.
a. Choose the menu display language.
b. Choose the reception country. Attention, make sure to choose the right receptioncountry; otherwise, the channel search may not be carried out correctly.
c. Then, select your time zone.
d. Please keep the LCN (Logical Channel Number) option ON (activated), so that thechannels can be classified in the correct order.
e. Press the Start button to begin the channel search. The DVB-T channels search startsimmediately and will only take a few minutes.

Press the MENU button to change the unit’s configuration. You can also define yourlist of favourite channels, which will be directly accessible by using the FAV button onthe remote control.
Press the EPG button to view the electronic TV guide of DVB-T channels. Press thisbutton again to view the details of a program (such information is provided by thechannel and may not be always available). Press EXIT to quit the EPG menu.
Press the AUDIO button to:o Change the sound mode ( choose "stereo" if you use the sound output from
the television, or "AC3" if you have connected your home theatre to the unitwith a coaxial cable);
o Change the audio track to another language if this option is available on thecurrent DVB-T channel.
To exit a menu or a sub-menu, press EXIT on the remote control to return to theprevious screen.

Important remarks:
1) Analog reception and DVB-T reception.If you wish to watch TV using you TV tuner (i.e. an analog tuner) and that your DVB-Tunit has been turned off or unplugged, the image quality from your TV may not beoptimal. This is normal; your DVB-T receiver must be set on standby to maintain goodsignal quality.
2) Different volume levels between channels in AC3 format and those in stereoformat.Certain DVB-T programs may be broadcasted in AC3 format, which provides asuperior audio quality via the coaxial output from the receiver. If you chose the AC3format and switch to a channel in stereo format afterwards, the audio volume mayincrease depending on the DVB-T program format and your home theatre equipment.This is normal; in this case, consider reducing the volume prior to changing channelsto avoid listening gene.
3) Display problem in HDMI mode.If you have selected a HDMI resolution which is not supported by your TV (for example,you have selected 1080i while your TV only supports 720p resolution), a black screenwill appear and you will not be able to change the HDMI resolution in the SETUPmenu.In this case, press the V-FORMAT button on the remote to change the HDMIresolution. You can also connect your TV with a SCART cable. The screen becomesreadable
4) If the reception problem persists:Your unit has been tested for optimal performance all over the country. In most cases,the reception problems are due to the antenna or cable connecting to your roof antenna.This device is designed and guaranteed to operate with signals of at least 60dB. I t isrecommended that you ask a qualified technician to verify your home antenna'scompatibility and installation.

5. Installation of STBThis section provides installation steps of your receiver. Refer to the manualsupplied with the equipment for the instal lation of outdoor equipment such as theTerrestrial antenna. When connecting new equipment, be sure to refer to the relatedparts of the manual.

6.Basic Operations
6.1 System Setup

Factory Reset
Use this option if you encounter a problem after havingchanged some parameters. This option will resetthe unit’s data to restore it to the factory’s value,thus deleting all channels. You will need to scan allChannels Afterwards.

Use this item to select the language of the setupmenu and screen display.

6.1.5 Auto standby function:
This function shuts down automatically after 3 hours if no user interference has been done during these hours. 2 minutes before shutdown a warning message will be shown on the TV.Auto standby function are preset to on from factory side, but can be turned off in the systemmenu.

6.2 Video Settin

Use this option to define the TV system according toyour country: PAL or NTSC.
6.2.2 HD Output
Display problem in HDMI mode –If you have selected a HDMI resolution whichis not supported by your TV (for example, you have selected 1080i while your TVsupports 720p resolution only), a black screen wil l appear and you will not be ableto change the HDMI resolution in the SETUP menu. To solve this problem, pressthe V-FORMAT button on the remote to change the HDMI resolution. You can alsoconnect your television with a SCART cable. The screen will become readableagain then, and you can set the right resolution in the setup menu of the unit.
6.2.3 Screen Ratio
Select 4:3 or 16:9 according to the size of your TV screen.

The High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) is a digital audio/video connector interface for transmitting uncompressed digital streams. HDMI supports, on a single cable (HDMI cable not supplied), all video formats including standard, enhanced, and high-definition, as well as multi-channel digital audio. To enjoy the enhanced audio and video quality that HDMI offers, you need an HD Ready television with HDMI connection.You then simply need to select the maximum resolution supported by your television in the menu:- 1280x720p (720p)- 1920x1080i (1080i)

6.3 Audio

6.3.2 SPDIF
Selecting the SPDIF setting allows the user to adjust the audio output on SPDIFPorts to work in harmony with the audio equipment(e.g.receiver,speakers)conectedto the player.
PCM Select this option when you are going to use stereo signals(2channels).Youshould combine this option with the option"Lower sampling rate",which weexplain further on.
RAW If you select this option the player wil l use the DVB's original audiotrack.Use this option when you want to use the Dolby Digital AC3signals through the coaxial audio output.
6.4 Installation

6.4.1 Manual Search
If any channel is missing after auto search, or you want to add newly launchedchannels, you can use Manual Search to scan the desired channels.
When move cursor to Channel,press OK then appearchannel l ist. Through up/down to choose the channelyou need search by manual scaning, besides, theFrequency below Channel will change according to yourchoosing. After choosing, you can choose "Start" to startchannel scaning.When move cursor to Frequency, press OK button toconfirm, then press left/right button to clear original
6.4.2 Auto Search
frequency, next input your needed frequency, lastchoose "Start"to start channel scaning.
Auto search is a kind of intelligent and convenient modeof programs searching, which covers programs of al lfrequency points of target countries or regions.1. Enter the Auto search menu via Instal lation > AutoSearch, Press OK to start Auto Search.
2. After entering into auto search page,system will scan all programs one by oneunder frequency points of current countries or regions selected automatically.3. During scanning, press EXIT key to stop and exit scanning.4. If any program is detected and the scanning process is finished, system wil l exitthe scanning page and save the program, at the same time return to the“installationmenu” .
6.5 Channel Edit
This function allows you to define a list of favouritechannels. When you select the option CHANNELEDITION, a message will appear to ask you to choosewhether you want to create a favourite list for DVB-Tchannels, or for radio stations. Choose the former optionto continue (there are no radio stations broadcasted viathe DVB-T network in most countries, including France).

eSome channels may be broadcasted into multiplelanguages. To change the audio language, press thLANG key of the remote control.

Press the L/R button to change the AUDIOTRACK and then press the RIGHTbutton to change the current audio language.
Alternatively, you can also change the AUDIO MODE from this menu. Somechannels may be broadcasted into AC3 format. You can choose AC3 if you have ahome theater, and only if you have connected your DVB-T unit to your home theaterwith a coaxial cable.
Remarks:- Language selection and AC3 availabil ity depend on the channels. Some
channels may offer only one language and no AC3.AC3 may also bebroadcasted only for a few selected movies.
- When you choose AC3, the sound coming from the TV is cut. This is normal, thesound is now transmitted to your home theater through the DVB-T’s coaxialoutput. Please also check beforehand that your home theater can decode theAC3 signal.
- If you chose the AC3 format, and switching back to another channel in stereoformat, the audio volume may actually increase depending on the DVB-Tchannel and your home theater equipment.This is normal; in that case,remember to reduce the volume beforehand.
- When digital audio output is set to raw it is for using with surround receiver only. You have to mute the sound on the tv when on this mode, otherwise you can have some noise in the TV speakers.If using only with tv, then please make sure the audio output is set to pcm.

6.8 EPG
The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) gives youimmediate access to the channel TV program for thecoming hours. To use it, press the EGP button of theremote control. The channel schedule appearsimmediately, as per the below illustration.
Use the UP and DOW N buttons to choose the desired DVB-T channel and thenpress the EPG button on the remote control to select the detai l of a TV program inparticular. Press EXIT to exit the EPG menu.
Remark: EPG availabili ty depends on the channels. This function may not beavailable when the channel does not broadcast this information.

6.7 SUBTITLES
Press the SUB-T button of the remote control to activatethe subtitles function. Subtitles may be available indifferent languages, depending on the channel.

The most unique feature on your is its ability to record live TV. There is two waysyou can go about this the first is to simply connect a USB storage device to your and press the record button on the remote. The other way is to schedule a program torecord using the EPG.
To schedule a recording follow the below steps:
Press the EPG button on the remote.
Highlight the channel you wish to record
Press the EPG button
Highlight the program you wish to record
Press the Enter button
The schedule window will be displayed with a number of options. You will be able to selectfrom the following two options:
Once you have made your selections press the enter key to confirm the recording time slot.
If at anytime you wish to delete a Scheduled recording go to the EPG and press the green button to view the list of scheduled events. Use the arrow keys on the remote to highlight the event you wish to delete then
7.0 Recording Live TV
The recording files can not be deleted on this unit, pls delete the files on computer
and PC using a suitable player, but can not be played back on DVD or PDVD
For recording the high definition TV programs,the version of usb device should be 2.0 or above,otherwise the unit may can not record the hd programs correctly.
When recording to usb stick or external hard disc on this model, you have to wait a few seconds before pushing rec. after inserting the media. Otherwise the unit can freeze in the signal.If that happens, then please take off power and connect again to fix this.

8.0 Multimedia
The multimedia function on your 7002HD allows you play your music, pictures and videos from your USB storage device. When you first select the multimedia function from themin menu you will be given three options:

Notes:Timeshifting will only be available when USB device

10.Important remarks:
