In August starts a group of students doing their basic vocational qualification of business and administration.

What differs from the ordinary:

in addition to the compulsory 20 credit training on-the-job they are expected to select Customer Care and Marketing (20 cr) and Visual Marketing (20 cr) of which a major parts will be conducted as on-the-job training. Plus: marketing communications, entepreneurship etc.

The students are asked to submit a tender for a back office help, eg. copying and sending marketing letters of the entrepreneurs for the autumn term.

When the tender has to be ready, the students will be told that the customer requires the tender to be in English.

So we give them two more days, models of tenders written in English, and assist them.

The point is that they not only do a real life tender and the best one gets the deal, but also that they get used to react quickly to the changing situations in business life.
