Skills Training

Mock Up facility

UZ-750 recognize the importance of both Craft Skills training (a

core competency) and Preservation of Electrical equipment

components and have worked in close collaboration with the

intent of firstly; expediting a robust craft skills training pro-

gramme as this is recognized as core to Quality of work conduct-

ed and secondly; to protect the integrity and ensure security of

equipment in order to prevent future

bottle necks and reliability flaws later

down the line.

The arrival of

the PED Electrical Representative now mobilized

to site has paved the way forward for the imple-

mentation and execution of Electrical Safety (of

which includes LOTO) and Craft Skills training.

Plan

Electrical Safety Awareness Training will be a

mandatory requirement for all personnel. Training

will remain on-going until such time all UZ750

Personnel have completed training in subject.

Craft skills training Mock Up Facility has been

mobilized. This craft skills training is a core

competency requirement. It has been con-

cluded / agreed which craft skills training is

required.

Intended Craft Skills Training Packages:

1.Cable tray and ladder installation

2.Earthing and lightning Protection

3.Cable pulling and termination

4.Lighting and Small power electrical works ( will

include F & G system )

5.Panels and Switchboard installation.

Vendor specific technical training still be dis-

cussed for HVAC system , & for telecom systems

– Not yet concluded.
