PLOT EXPLANATION 1.
The new plot I have developed involves a girl who has a passion for
driving, more specifically though, racing. Her mother however wants her to
conform to the same discipline as herself, which was dance. The female
protagonist is against this concept and whilst her mother attempts to get
her into a dance academy for further education, the girl is out racing along
the streets searching for a thrill and a connection to her deceased father.
Her father was a racer and tragically died in an accident whilst
racing, throughout the film the girl is training up for the same race which
her father was killed in as she feels this will honour him and she can win it
for him as this is something her and her father used to talk about and so is
special to her. She is also competing in other races so that she can get to
the final which her father crashed and died in. However, during training the
girl crashes into a tree and is severely injured leaving her mother
distraught and concerned.

Once the girl recovers fully it is only a matter of time until this race
occurs, the girl isn’t allowed to participate in the race if she is female
however she perceives the standards being different and it is known that
the complexity of the male track is much more challenging and so she
disguises herself and enters into the males competition. The girl meets all
of the competitors she faces throughout the film and the world champion is
her main match however she develops a soft liking towards him
throughout the film although he puts up a hard exterior. When in the race
the two are neck on neck the girl allows him to finish first so that when the
world finds out he was beat by a girl he won’t be so
embarrassed, ashamed and frowned upon by his extremely pushy
parents. Everyone is shocked when the girl reveals her identity and the
boy is annoyed at her when she speaks to him he says it’s because she let
him win. The girl goes on to win the race the next year when the racing
committee agree that it should be mixed gender.
