Initial Ideas:

At first I struggled, with ideas and what genre would be suited to the locations that I had access to. I have now decided that I want to create a horror/thriller style film opening. This is because it is something that I have always had a few ideas for but never really had the opportunity or time to carry out. Furthermore, although I have never done something like this before, I think that I have a few fairly good ideas that I could develop. I also know a good location that would be perfect for the isolated setting depicted in the film. Below are a few plots/story lines and potential ideas I could use:

Haunting – A character who has supernatural suspicions and feels as if they are being watched.

Isolated – A character simply going for a walk but coming across an abandoned/eerie forest location with strange writings scrawled across a wall.

Adventure – A character visiting an area that is known to be especially creepy within the local village and photographing the eerie things he comes across.

Lost – A character who becomes lost in a dark forest and soon realises that they are not alone.
