Italian Society of Biomechanics and Segmented Orthodontics

The yearly membership includes the first day of the “Orthodontic Biomechanics Introductory Course”, while for the second and third day a contribution of 70€ for each day course is required. In case of registering for both, the fee is reduced to 100€ in total.

SIBOS 2019 yearly membership for qualified dentists is 100€. Postgraduate students can benefit from reduced subscription of 50€.

The course covers the basic and more advanced principles of tooth movement and biomechanics as in relation to segmented arch technique, the most commonly used straight-wire techniques as well as treatment with clear aligners, to allow the clinician for an in-depth knowledge and planning of desired treatment goals independently of the technique used. The approach is foremost clinical, followed by “hands on” practical sessions of wire bending on typodont.
