SAMPLE ACTIVITIES

With PADLET you can add text, audio, video, pictures and more!

Students can contribute to the class activities in many different ways.

They can post questions, ideas, suggestions, comments and complaints!

(Thanks God the instructor can mediate the posts by choosing an option in settings!!)

SPAN 101 and beyond:

Introductions

1. Instructor will create and open up a Padlet wall on the board.

2. Students will need to have created a Padlet account in order to post their messages.

3. Let’s suppose this SPAN 201 or a fictious activity in SPAN 101 where students have to find out someone’s real identity after they learned how to describe oneself physically and emotionally.

4. Instructor will ask students to introduce themselves using the following criteria: a. text up to 2 lines b. one visual (picture or symbol, emoji, emoticon of choice) c. A sample audio file created by the student or from an online source. Students use ficticiousnames.

5. GOAL OF THE “GAME”: Discover their real identities! Instructor might want to ask students to bring all these items ahead of time. For instance, use a picture from when you were an infant, or your favorite pet’s, etc.

An EXIT SLIP using Padlet.com

Professora Cássia will provide you with a link to a Padlet wall she created.

Read the question on the Padlet wall and enter one comment, once. You can record your voice to post an audio reply or write it. You can also add a picture that is related to the question and today’s mini workshop.

Profa Cássia will share this Padlet wall with the entire class!
