TAMIL NADU STATE LEVEL PLACEMENT PROGRAMME(2012 PASSING OUT STUDENTS)

Anna University, Chennai is organizing Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme(TNSLPP) 2011-12, for the Present Final Year (2012 Passing Out) Students studying in SelfFinancing Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu.

M/s Infosys Technologies Limited has kindly agreed to participate in this PlacementProgramme during 9th & 10th April, 2012. Centre for University Industry Collaboration, AnnaUniversity Chennai is conducting this programme at P.S.N.A. College of Engineering &Technology, Kothandaraman Nagar, Dindigul - 624 622 for the 2012 Passing Out Students.

The final year students of B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE, ECE, EEE, EIE, ICE & IT) with an CGPA of8.5 and above (No Standing Arrears) from I Semester to VII Semester are eligible toparticipate. It is mandatory that all the students should secure an average of 70% and abovemarks consistently from 10th Std. and 12th Std. It is requested that the Principal / PlacementOfficers of the College should verify the marks of the students and certify their eligibility to attendthe campus placement.

Students who have already paid the Registration Fee for the academic year 2011-2012should bring their CUIC Placement Passport Book without fail along with duly signedattendance sheet.

Candidates who wants to register for the first timehave to pay one time Registration fee ofRs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred and fifty only) each in the form of a Demand draft drawn in favourof The Director, CUIC, Anna University payable at Chennai.

Any of the interested and eligible students fulfilling the above criteria studying inAffiliated Engineering Colleges of Anna University of Technology Coimbatore Region alsocan participate in this event either on 9th & 10th April 2012 at Dindigul or 17th & 18th April 2012at Chennai.

The Principal / Placement Officer may collect the Registration Fee from the studentsand make One Consolidated Demand Draft and submit the Demand Draft along with theName List, Registration No., Branch and Annexure-I through courier with the soft copyof the students list as per the enclosed format to the CUIC, Anna University, Chennai on orbefore 03.04.2012. (Mail Id: [email protected])

The Principals / Placement Officers are requested to direct all the eligible candidates whohave been satisfying the terms and conditions mentioned in AnnexureII to report at P.S.N.A.College of Engineering & Technology, Dindigul on 09.04.2012 at 7.30 a.m.

Already letters have been sent to all Principals concerned along with Annexure I & II.

ANNEXURE II

Terms and Conditions

1. As per the mandate of the Anna University Chennai, students who have already placed inany organisation through Campus Recruitment are not eligible to attend the CampusInterview.

2. As per the notification of visiting Organisations, the candidates who have already

appeared for On-Campus Recruitment of that particular Organisation are not eligible tore-appear again in the State Level Placement programme.

3. All eligible students take part in the Campus Interview process for the first time have toregister by paying a one time Registration Fee of Rs.750/- in the form of Demand Draftin favour ofThe Director, CUIC, Anna University, Chennai payable at Chennai.

4. Candidates should furnish the photograph duly attested by the Principal of their college.(Annexure I)

5. Candidates should bring the attested Xerox copies of SSLC, HSLC, Diploma and Degree

semester mark sheets for verification along with 4 passport size photographs.

6. For attending the Campus Interview, the candidates should make their own arrangements.

7. Registration, Validation and Test will be conducted on Day one. The shortlistedcandidate will have the interview on Day one / two.

8. Those candidates selected through State Level Placement by the company should notattend the subsequent Test / Interviews to be conducted by other companies.

9. Students who have appeared for the On-campus or Off-campus interview of the

concerned company within the time period of six months are not eligible to participate inthe concerned organization drive.

10.Any irregularity / Mal practices / in any form of recommendation will be treated, asdisqualification and Anna University Chennai will take serious action against thosecandidates.

11.The decision of the Director, CUIC will be final in all matters.
