As we’ve grown our business and our staff, the spirit to serve remains at the heart of everything we offer. It’s this history and culture that shapes our character today.

A Rochester native with four generations of local family history, Joe Powers started his first business here more than thirty years ago. Since then, the Powers family of brands has served hundreds of thousands of people and grown into a pillar of the Rochester community.

J.Powers at the Hilton continues this legacy of service—a luxurious event experience grounded in community connection and fresh, local flavor. We take pride in the excellent standard of service we provide to our clients and their guests. That passion for treating each moment with care and respect is the trademark of a J.Powers event. Beyond our standards for excellent event service, we’re committed to giving back to the community we serve. That’s why a portion of our profits is returned to the community each year in support of local causes. Sustainability is also important to us. Responsible food sourcing is a vital part of our process and a testament to the community here in Rochester.

We’re proud to partner with local hydroponic farms using sustainable growing techniques —bringing fresh, farm-to-table cuisine to our guests and building connections that grow our community in the right direction. That’s our spirit to serve.
