INTRODUCTION,DISCUSSON,MEASURMENTS,CONCLUSIONS
Issues During Covid19 Pandemic:Probability of getting sick for flight crew and electronic
personnel.Decreasing in civil flights. Issues related to flight inspection aircraft. Increasing NAVAIDs expiration and IR of IRAN has over 250 NAVAIDs and many of them
encountered to expiration.

conduct meetings and
gathering information to
assess possibility of any
action.

CNS Department specified the
parameters that secure reliability
and stability of NAVAIDs then
graded and listed.
Air traffic control department
graded the flight plans with regard
of terrain and restrictions.

INTRODUCTION-DISCUSSON-MEASURMENTS-CONCLUSIONS
After two months discussion, the program
submitted to CAO and it adopted. Iran
CAO admitted exemption of CAD 4410,
Items 6-1 and 6-3 that permitting NAVAIDs
validity duration increased up to 100%
from expiration date.
All documents and verifications had to
report every 15 days.

INTRODUCTION-DISCUSSON-MEASURMENTS-CONCLUSIONS
Why a NAV-AID become out of service?
Malfunction or Technical issues
FLCK expiration
Is it reasonable that we put this system out of service?

Acceptable ground check which
demonstrates NAVAID has sufficient
accuracy.
No changes in environment should be
verified in ground check form.
Confirmation by three arrival flights about
NAVAID/NAVAIDs operation in approach and
landing phase of flight.

INTRODUCTION-DISCUSSON-MEASURMENTS-CONCLUSIONS
In full compliance with safety consideration the following results
have achieved:
1. It helped breaking the chain of outbreak
and save personnel.
2. The validity of over 100 NAVAIDs
system which were involve of the
program are extended up to twice.

In full compliance with safety consideration the following results
have achieved:
3. Work load of flight inspection office
decreased.
2. time and costs saved as well.

Future Plan
Using Unmanned aerial Vehicle (UAV) Drone (Ref Doc.8071-V1 , 1.18)
We are going to use drone with additional test equipment
because:
1- Easy to conduct.
2- Cost effective.
3- Some terrain influence into signal in
space.
4- More accurate and more reliable with
regard to ground check.
