Information 2014 International Pickleball Tournament Amsterdam May 16-18 2014
A skill level tournament for players of all levels to promote pickleball in the Netherlands
Organized by the Amsterdam Pickleball Players. The venue will be Sporthal de Pijp Lizzy Ansinghstraat 88 Amsterdam (indoor)
Events: Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles, age up 16
Skill levels: 2.5-3.0 3.5 4.0-5.0
Format of play will be round robin with players self reporting their skill level (but subject to the tournament committee’s final review). Matches will be 2 out of 3 games.
Program:
Friday May 16 5 pm – 9 pm free playing, referee briefing, (free) clinics, welcome
Saturday May 17 8.30 am-7.30 pm women’s doubles and men’s doubles, 7 pm dinner+social event
Sunday May 18 8.30 am – 5 pm women’s doubles and mixed doubles, 5 pm award ceremony
Entry deadline: Entry closes May 1st 2014 (or when maximum is reached). Registration by mail (see form) or website
Entry Fees: €20 for the first event and €10 for an additional event. Dinner €15 and special tournament T-shirt €10.
