About the company

Infomatica Labs, a software development company has been founded on January 2016. Itsfounders are two young IT professionals having a good amount of experience in thesoftware industry. The founders have prior experience of developing a B2C product calledWaroze.com. It was an E-Commerce platform providing price aggregation and cashback foran online purchase. Infomatica is our second venture.

Fixed Price

A fixed-price contract is a type of contract where the payment amount does not depend onresources used or time expended. Fixed-price model can help in pre-determining the valueof the entire software. Such a contract continues to be

Inthis type of contract, customer gives the software requirement and the vendor estimatesthe cost and time based on the nature and complexity of the software. Time and Material

Time and Materials is a contract for software development in which the customer agrees topay the vendor based upon the time spent by the vendor’s employees(SoftwareProfessionals) to perform the work, and for resources used in the software development,no matter how much work is required to complete the project. Time and Materials model isgenerally used in projects in which it is not possible to accurately estimate the size of theproject, or when it is expected that the project requirements would most likely change. Inthis type of contract, customer gives the software requirement for which the vendorsuggests the number of resources to be deployed on the project. Customer and Vendoragrees upon the hourly rate to be paid for the efforts put by each team member based onhis/her skills, experience and role in the project.

Dedicated Team

In case of the Dedicated Team model, customer hires software professionals to workdedicatedly on his software development project. This model is suitable when the scope ofthe project is not fixed. Customer wants to have full control over the team and wants tovalidate the product as it is developed. Customer has the flexibility to make changes to therequirement as needed. In this type of contract, customer gives the high level requirementand the vendor suggests number of team members to deploy for initial setup. The
