GIDEON TILBURGS

MANAGING DIRECTOR - PRIMARY INVESTMENT EUROPE, JOHN LAING

Gideon joined John Laing in 2007 and is currently the managing Director of the European investments team. He is responsible for all bidding and investing activities in Europe.

John Laing is an international originator, active investor and manager of infrastructure projects. Its business is focused on major

transport, social and environmental infrastructure projects awarded under governmental public-private partnership (PPP) programmes, and renewable energy projects, across a range of international markets including the UK, Europe, Asia Pacifi c and North America.

JUAN ANGOITIA

SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR, INFRASTRUCTURE, ARDIAN

Juan has more than 20 years’ experience within the infrastructure industry. He joined Ardian in 2013. Prior to joining Ardian, he spent fi ve years at Citi Infrastructure Investors (CII) as Investment Principal based in London.

Prior to that Juan spent more than 10 years at Grupo Ferrovial, S.A. in Cintra and Ferrovial Aeropuertos/BAA.

He started his professional career in Sanitas/BUPA a private medical insurance and holds a holds a BA in Business & Economics and an MBA from IE.

ALICIA SEGOVIA MARCO

COUNSEL, PUBLIC & INFRASTRUCTURE GROUP , URÍA MENÉNDEZ

Alicia Segovia jointed Uría Menéndez in 2019 as counsel, having previously worked as State Lawyer in International Arbitration. Before that, she has worked as General Technical Secretary of the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructures, Director of Legal Department of the Regional Government of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La

Mancha and Director of Legal Department of Metro de Madrid (Subway). She was a member of the Board of Directors of AENA, SME, S.A. and ENAIRE and she was President of the National Commission of Post and the National Commission of Concreting Works and Steel Infrastructures. She has also served as State Lawyer in the High Court of Madrid.

She has more than 10 years of practice, focused on all aspects of Public Law, especially on public infrastructures, public contracts, administrative litigation and constitutional cases before the Constitutional Court.

JAVIER MARTÍNEZ-PARDO

HEAD OF PROJECT FINANCE, CINTRA

Javier joined Grupo Ferrovial in 2001, and he has participated during the last 18 years in multiple project fi nance transactions, including roads, carparks and airports in Europe, America and Australia.

Javier has been involved in some recent landmark deals: Silvertown Tunnel in UK (2019), Western Roads Upgrade in Australia (2018 Best fi nancial structure by Infrastructure Partnerships Australia and Partnerships Bulletin), Ruta del Cacao in Colombia (`2018 Latam Transport Deal of the Year’ by IJGlobal), and I-66 in USA (‘2017 deal of the year’ by IJGlobal and Infrastructure Investor).

Prior to joining Ferrovial, Javier worked 4 years for JP Morgan Chase.

Javier holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (E3 - ICADE). He has also completed the IESE Management Development Program, and the CFA Program (CFA Institute).

JON NAFRÍA

STRUCTURING AND FINANCE MANAGER, GLOBALVIA

Jon Nafria Ascolizaga, Structuring and Finance Manager of Globalvia, holds a Law degree by Universidad de Deusto and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) by Universidad de Navarra (IESE).

He has over 15 years of professional experience. He joined the Capital Market and

Project Finance Department of Banco Español de Crédito, S.A. (BANESTO) in 2005. In 2007 he joined BBVA, holding different positions in the Project Finance area: During his fi rst year he worked as Project Finance Associate, moving then to Mexico in 2008 as Head of Project Finance Renewables. In 2011 he came back to Spain holding the position of Director in the Financial Sponsors department. In 2013 he became Executive Director in the Restructuring and Debt Structuring team, until his appointment in 2017 as Project Finance Executive Director.

ANA MARÍA SABIOTE

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, PUBLIC & INFRASTRUCTURE GROUP, URÍA MENÉNDEZ

Ana is a lawyer in the Madrid offi ce of Uría Menéndez since September 2006. She started working on a part-time basis while fi nishing her studies in Political Sciences in July 2007. Since then, Ana has been working as a member of the Public Law and Litigation Practice Area.

Her carrier concerns administrative law as well as administrative litigation. Ana focuses her practice in all areas of administrative law (public contracts, infringement proceedings, energy, mining, telecommunications, public property, aids, liability of public authorities, environment, public infrastructures, etc.). She has advised private entities and public authorities on legal administrative issues.

ENRIQUE FUENTES

SENIOR ADVISER, STEPSTONE INFRASTRUCTURE & REAL ASSETS

Enrique has more than 27 years experience in private infrastructure as an advisor, fi nancier, developer, and investor. He worked for 13 years at Ferrovial, where he headed the acquisition of transportation infrastructure assets and played a leading role in the transformation of Ferrovial from a contractor into a leading infrastructure investor and

developer. Enrique has also had roles in advisory (KPMG Global Infrastructure), Corporate Finance (Head of Project Finance, Deutsche Bank Spain) and Investment Management. He has led investments in transportation infrastructure assets with aggregate EV in excess of 15 Bn EUR.

Within Stepstone, Enrique is a member of the Investment Committee, focusing in the industrial aspects of infrastructure investments, has an MBA from IESE Business School and received a bachelor in Economics and Finance from Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros.
