Treatment of 32 cases of Immunological Infertility withChinese Herbal Formula ZHI BAI BA WEI WAN

According to the microcosmic Syndrome Differentiation, immunologicalinfertility is recognised as Kidney Yin deficiency with hyperactive Yang.

ZHI BAI BA WEI WAN (A.P.Rehmannia formula) was used to treat the

infertile couples with positive antisperm and/or antizona pellucideaantibidies.

It was found that after 6 months treatment, the antibodies were convertedto negative in 81.3% (26/32) of cases.

All 8 cases (25%) of successful pregnancy occurred in 1-9 months afterantibodies negative conversion and the negative status was maintainedthroughout the course of pregnancy.
