The regimental band is organized only when specifically authorized; when not present, the total and aggregate strengths of the regiment are reduced accordingly. The band is commanded by the adjutant and is attached to headquarters company for administration, mess and supply. Transportation will be furnished by the transportation platoon of the service company.
