Based in Leipzig, Marlene Beyer creates feminine jewellery designs with a touch of fashion. Her favourite material is plastic, which she manufactures and pigments by herself.

Her pieces come with a finish of innovatively hand printed Japanese patterns or high gloss polished surfaces, each piece is handmade and reveals a great attention to detail.

Marlene studied jewellery design in Düsseldorf and Barcelona and graduated in 2010. By now, her acclaimed collections are represented in renowned jewellery galleries throughout Europe.

in a hairdresser’s salon, in October of 2012 Gaetano starts to work as a freelance hairstylist, finally feeling fully satisfied in being able to give birth to his creativity. “I am fascinated by my work and end of the day I come home full of satisfaction and proud of the work done”, says Gaetano.

Bringing together our different points of view on this particalar theme, me, Valentina De Meo (the photographer), Serena Palma (the make up artist) and Carlo Sinesi (the stylist), we did a great job! Regarding the hairstyle I imagined a queen with a hair full of volume that would enhance her majesty. I took inspiration from afro hair, large and important, just perfect to intensify our Queen. I added backcombed extensions to the model’s hair, in order to get more thickness and the maximum volume to emphasize her imposing beauty. I feel fully satisfied and happy about the work and collaboration of the whole team.”
