Events perform incredibly well. The first Indianapolis SMB event sold out 35 spots in 3 days, and the second event sold out 55 spots in 12 hours. Our recent events now fill up within an hour of registration opening, to the tune of 70-90 spots.

When asked how likely they would be to tell others about sponsors, 100% of respondents scored 3 and above, where 5 was “very likely” and 1 was “not likely.” 80% scored at 4 and above.

To understand attendee reaction, respondents were asked whether the level of presentation was good and how well the event met overall expectations.

All sponsors are coordinated by the co-founders, and are given a variety of opportunities to ensure benefit both for attendees as well as the sponsor.

Sponsor door gifts will be accepted if they are relevant, as well as useful, for attendees. Note-books, writing utensils, product samples, and corporate gifts are among items that may be acceptable. Discount vouchers, product flyers, and media kits are encouraged to be made avail-able for attendees instead of being used as door gifts. Your assistance in helping us remain a neutral organization is greatly appreciated.

Products and services must not expressly be sold within the context of Indy SMB presentations, however, booth space is available at each event for 30 minutes before presentations begin, and in many situations, sponsor speaking time may be built into event agendas prior to the start of keynote speaker presentations.

SPONSORSHIP GUIDELINES

As a presenting sponsor, you’ll find yourself with plenty of attention, including 3 minutes of presen-tation time at the start of the event you sponsor, a logo, links, and description on the event website. In addition, you’ll have access to hold a drawing for a giveaway or door prize that will allow you to collect business cards. In exchange for all of this, we’ll ask you to cover our location fees, supplies, as well as provide food and beverages.

Our premiere sponsor is the level at which our most dedicated partners engage with Indy SMB. Premiere sponsors are given table space for handouts at all events, permanent placement on our flagship website and each event website, including logo, links, and promotional text. In addi-tion, you’ll be given 4 minutes of time to give a brief presentation on your organization to Indy SMB, and optionally hold a drawing for door prizes at each event, providing you with business cards from attendees. Finally, you’ll be provided with a detailed report on performance from each event based on survey and other data.

As a premiere sponsor, you will be asked to commit to covering at least one of food and bever-ages, speaker expenses, and/or location and event supply expenses for at least 5 events.
