Offering enduring beauty and eco-friendly, energy-saving performance, the new high-output LED luminaires are available in two models: a nearly 1000 lumen, 18 watt version producing illumination comparable to 26 watt compact fluorescents; and an 1800 lumen, 34 watt version comparable to 42 watt compact fluorescents.

Peace of mindIndy’s unique modular design permitseasy replacement of the light engineshould technology improvements become available before or at the end of the LED’s useful life. In addition,all Indy LED fixtures are covered with a 5-year warranty.

Choices and OptionsThe Indy offering is the broadest in its category featuring outputs of nearly 1000and 1800 fixture lumens, 4”, 6”and 8”round; 4” and 6” square luminaires; and 9” surface, pendant, and wall-mount cylinders. All are available in three colortemperatures – 3000K, 3500K, and 4100K;dimming is standard and emergency lighting is optional.

Industry leading lumen package The 1800 lumen Indy LED Luminaire is thefirst package to offer light output levels ideally suited to the challenges of commer-cial illumination. Output is comparable to42 watt compact fluorescent fixtures.

Energy savings With just 34 input watts and a luminaire efficacy of 50 lumens per watt, Indy LEDLuminaires can cut your power consump-tion by one-third compared to equivalentcompact fluorescent fixtures that require 42 input watts and produce around 39 lumens per watt. To conserve even moreenergy, use Indy LED 1000 Luminaires that consume only 18 watts input.

Color consistency Indy light engines with remote phosphortechnology feature blue LEDs, a mixingchamber and a phosphor coated lens that converts the blue light to white light at specified color temperatures. This unique approach results in superior fixture-to-fixture color consistency.

Outstanding performance Indy’s secondary optics have been optimized around the LED light engine to provide superior brightness control at the ceiling and smooth, even light distribution on floors or walls.

While many LED downlights have been designed with the light engines as an integral non-replaceable part of the heat sink, Indy engineers found a way to achieve the requiredheat sink properties using a modular design.

Ready for Today and TomorrowThe light engine and driver of the Indy LED Luminaire are modular components and havebeen designed for easy access from above or below the fixture, permitting quick, economical replacement. So if you want to change color temperature, upgrade to futuretechnology advancements, or replace the light engine at the end of its useful life, it caneasily be accomplished without having to return the unit to the factory or installing a new fixture.

5-Year WarrantyA 5-Year warranty is your assurance that you are purchasing the highest quality product.However, should the light engine or driver ever require maintenance, the modular designmakes servicing the fixture as simple as conventional lamp/ballast replacement.

The remote phosphor Philips Fortimo light engine

integrates multiple blue LED die in a mixing

chamber that efficiently directs the blue light

from the die onto a remote phosphor disc. Since

the light extraction from the blue LED die is

greater than comparable white phosphor conver-

sion LEDs, the highly efficient light engine pro-

duces 1100 lumens from just 18 watts of input

energy or 2000 lumens from just 34 watts.

In addition, by blending multiple blue LED die in

the mixing chamber, a more-consistent blue

wavelength can be matched to the remote

phosphor disc, producing CCTs of 3000K,

3500K, or 4100K at 80 CRI. The result is superior

color consistency compared to all other conven-

tional white LED packages in use today. And

since the phosphor is removed from the heat

source, thermal degradation of the phosphor is

minimized and long-term color stability is

maximized.

The modular, quick-connect light engine,

enables LED change-out from below ceiling

level, eliminating the need to replace the entire

fixture or heat sink saving time and reducing

waste. It’s the ultimate in convenience.

Dimmable LED DriverThe Indy LED driver is up to 10% more efficient than typical LED drivers. “Intelligent”solid-state technology supplies consistently accurate current to the light engine under awide range of operating conditions. Instanton; powers-up in milliseconds. The 0-10V protocol dimming increases efficiency up to 30%. All are available for 120 through 277-volt, or 347-volt input.

Thermal ManagementThermal management is critical to every aspect of an LED fixture. Light output, servicelife and color stability are all directly related to operating temperature. By designing the lightengine into a fully enclosed, modular system,maximum heat dissipation is achieved. Thedie-cast heat sink provides superior thermalmanagement, assuring optimal service life.After 50,000 hours, LEDs can be expected toproduce at least 70% of their initial output withimperceptible color change.



Like all the fixtures in the Indy Designer Series, Indy LED Luminaires

are designed for optimal light source concealment, creating the

sought-after “quiet ceiling” look. They produce color-consistent,

brilliant white light while dramatically reducing energy consumption.

The fully concealed, solid state LED light engine offers unprecedented

service life and is easily replaceable to accommodate future technol-

ogy upgrades.

The superior housing design of Indy LED Luminaires is suitable for

suspended grid, plaster, or drywall applications, and its low-profile

makes it ideal for 2” x 6” construction. Easy-to-install proprietary

Tru-Lock bar hangers offer fast, repeatable fixture positioning in tile

centers or in quarter-tile increments. And unlike most other LED

luminaire designs, Indy LED housings and components require no

field assembly of any kind.

Indy Designer Series LED Luminaires have earned the ENERGY STAR

qualified label for commercial downlight installations when using clear

satin, semi-specular or specular reflectors - offering even a greater

A Trim

Self-flanged, low brightness trims with

three Alzak® finishes, minimize rainbowing and reduce

distracting spill light, creating a pleasant ”quiet ceiling”

appearance. Wall wash and downlight trims are inter-

changeable and require no modification to housing.

Mounting Bracket

Adjustable mounting brackets provide 2" of vertical

adjustment to facilitate installation. Indy Tru-Lock bar

hangers are standard for secure mounting into T-bar

drop ceiling applications.

Housing

Commercial grade construction for greater structural

integrity is standard. Black baked enamel finish reduces

stray light.

Junction Box

For service, the oversized J-box is accessed easily

through the fixture’s aperture. UL Listed for through-

branch wiring and damp locations.

Advanced Thermal Management

The Indy LED fixture employs an efficient cast-aluminum

heat sink integrated directly with the housing to

maintain the LED junction temperature below the

manufacturer’s published limits. At the end of their

50,000 hour rated life, the LEDs can be expected

to produce at least 70% of their initial light output

with imperceptible changes in color. Nuventix active

cooling heat sink used for cylinders.

High-Output LED Light Engine

Innovative light engine utilizes mixing chambers and

remote phosphor lenses to deliver either 1100 lumens

from only 18W or 2000 lumens from only 34W, maximiz-

ing fixture efficacy and providing superior color consis-

tency. Available in 3000K, 3500K, or 4100K color

temperatures. Easily replaceable from below the ceiling.

Dimmable LED Driver

Indy’s driver design accommodates input voltages of

120, 277, or 347 VAC. The “intelligent” state-of-the-art

driver supplies proper, constant current to the LED light

engine, providing consistent lumen output under a wide

range of operating conditions. Dimming to 10% (0-10V)

is standard; emergency-lighting back-up operation

is optional. Easily serviced from above or below

the ceiling.

Advanced Downlight Optics

Computer-optimized reflectors and deep regression of source produces a

very low brightness aperture with exceptional cutoff to the lamp and lamp

image. The extensive reflector selection is offered in an array of colors with

three finish options — specular, semi-specular and satin —providing ultimate

Architectural Wall Wash - Outstanding UniformityThe Architectural LED Wall Wash reflector system is truly innovative. By leveraging theproperties of the directional LED light source,the unique reflector system has been optimized to direct the light with such precision as to essentially “paint” the light onthe wall horizontally and from floor to ceilingwith unsurpassed uniformity. This precisionwall wash system eliminates scallops andprojects light to within 1 inch of the ceiling line for typical architectural wall wash applications. The deep source regression and reflector angle produces a very low glare system on the room side with 40° cut-off to lamp and lamp image.
