CONTENTS
Allows you to access and download online content, using proof
of purchase that comes in the box, such as the film
Deadpool
ULTRAVIOLET
A high quality and extensively customizable camera, one of the only
cameras that can film at a resolution of 4K. Examples include The Martian, Ride Along
2 and Straight Outta Compton
RED ONE CAMERA
A new audio format for creating and
playing multichannel movie soundtracks. Developed to give a
more 3D sound effect, enhancing the emersion experience. Films like American Sniper and Chappie
used this format.
DOLBY ATMOS
Involves using a computing device at the home or cinema in order to enhance the
interactive viewing experience. One classic example of this is the film, App.
SECOND SCREEN
Standing for Computer – Generated Imagery, merges digital models with real footage, creating a range of things from
backgrounds that are not there, like I Am Legend and TRON, to entire animated films
such as Sausage Party.
CGI
From this bit of research into some industry standard technology, I can conclude that my film is not up to the
industry standard. However, this is okay, as many independent film makers also do not reach industry standard. In addition, if I can tell a story just as well
without such tech, that shows how good I am as a director.
