Client was using manual methods to collect

information from the different applications,

and putting them together in Microsoft Excel

or other tools, which was labour intensive

and error prone process since client

experience problems in using data warehouse

& BI solution to its full potential.

Data warehouse was limited to the Sales

information of the Retail application, with

issues in performance, maintainability,

robustness & extensibility

Financial information in Sales package

were with lot of information in custom

developed Cubes in applications like

transformer and getting out this

information in cube to build incremental

data for multiple years in flexible &

qualitative way was not possible

Cognos BI 10.1 Applications using BI

from SQL server & used Auto partition

to integrate multiple year data from

source system (SQL server)

high level summarized data is

required, all lowest level transactional

data is gathered in enterprise data

warehouse, prepared it for all future

needs & enabled root cause analysis of

anomalies to the lowest data

1st phase— Techwave implemented
