as our direct mount scrapers but are con-

figured with front dolly wheels. The total

weight of the scraper and its payload

are carried completely by the earth-

mover’s front and rear wheels.

with the specialized tractors

or costly drawbars. The front

dolly wheels provide

excellent ground following

ability indepen- dent from the tractor.

Customers who see the benefit of using a

pull-type scraper but do not have full-time

scraper work enjoy the freedom of different

XL2

The I-950 is built tough front to back. Designed for the agricultural and light industrial market, these scrapers have proven to be as depend-able as the customers that pull them. Ashland’s newly re-designed I-950 delivers the same great performance of its predecessor w/some key en-gineering changes to improve an already rock-solid machine. Ashland strives to be the best and listens to its most valuable asset, its customers.

Some noted modifications are in the I-950’s gooseneck/pole, apron and hold down roller design. The new gooseneck has a straight stem that runs completely through the upper panel of the neck, which provides more welding surface. The entire gooseneck assembly is welded com-pletely on the inside as well as on the outside.

The new pole forms a heavy bottom plate allow-ing us to weld the pole on the inside as well as the outside to the spindle base and swivel hitch block. Once welded inside and out, a cover plate is added to the top and fully welded to the spindle base and hitch thrust block. Ashland transitioned from the V-roller ejection design to a

new hold down roller design which has proven to be smoother and more reliable than previous systems.

The apron cylinder size is increased allowing for a larger apron opening for ejecting sticky mate-rial and provides greater clamping force critical in loose soils. With its proven performance, this machine has earned its reputation as best in its class. Why choose the I-950?

Looking for more capacity than a 9 yd., but not enough HP to handle 13 yds.? This machine has the same great features as the I-110 XL2 and I-130 XL2 providing a perfect fit for your pull-unit. Several options you can find on the I-110 XL2 and other XL2 models: Laser pad mounted on cross member ready to utilize a laser leveling system / Trailer receiver hitch receptacle giv-ing the ability to pull attachments / Double lip clevis hitch / Bank shaver blades for I-110 & I-130 models only. Keeping durability in mind we tend to look at issues facing equip-ment in the field. One in particular is rubber hydraulic hosing exposed to the UV and elements and its tendency to decrease the life span of the hosing. Ashland equips all applicable loca-

tions with 3/4” steel hydraulic tubing increasing the durability and longevity of the hydraulics. All wearable parts are structures to provide scraper service and fast shipments.

The I-130 XL2 has proven to be a very popular machine in the Agricultural market. Along with its durability, versatility and options allow you to match this machine for the desired application.

The I-130 XL2 comes standard w/21.5 x 16.1 front & 18.4 x 26 non skid rear tires providing excellent holding power on slopes, such as waterways, roads ditches or terraces. The I-130 XL2 provides the option of adding 20.5 x 25 12 Ply rear tires for rough terrain.

With its dual plated floor and Boron Thru-hard-ened blades, these machines are built to last. This machine is built rigid, built tough, built solid, letting you work in the toughest of conditions w/peace of mind. The I-110 & I-130 models can be equipped with a serrated blade to bite into hard

ground allowing it to tackle the toughest of jobs. There is a 3 circuit option where the op-erator can independently control the ejec-tion sequence. Built to the same standards as the I-110 XL2 & I-130 XL2, the I-155 XL2 is one rugged machine. Ashland prides itself on building the highest qual-ity scrapers on today’s market and this scraper is no exception. Designed for larger tractors & medium sized dozers, this scraper is ideal for contractors who want the flexibility of using a scraper without having to purchase specialized tractor drawbars.

The I-155 XL2’s 5 x 20” vertical mounted front lift cylinders allow for faster response time. A faster response keeps ground speed up if the scraper blade digs in, which is important to keep mate-rial boiling to maximize the load.

The I-155 XL2 uses heavy-duty cast steel socket halves and a steel ball to provide all the range of motion required to pull the scraper in one confined assembly. The ball and socket design is easy to install (bolt on), strong, effective, and cheap to replace, an advantage over the com-petition. The pole’s low center point permits the

scraper to pull easier maintaining speed and stability.

The I-110 TS2 offers the versatility needed in the field. This machine is an excellent fit for con-tractors with medium to large MFWD Tractors 180 HP (134.23 KW).

Ashland’s I-110 TS2 is a mirror image of its larger I-130 TS2 sibling. One of the minor differences is the lower sidewall, reducing the capacity to better equip smaller tractors all while offer-ing the key features that make the I-130 TS2 so popular.

The I-110 TS2-Front offers the option of tandem hookup to increase production. Another op-tion Ashland provides is 3 circuit plumbing to simultaneously control the ejection sequence. The 4 x 13” apron cylinders permit 56” of open-ing making the ejection of heavy wet material no problem.

The 97.5” cut width is great for ditching and irrigating waterways while providing the operator with superior visibility at the blade. This machine is equipped standard with a laser pad on the front cross member for easy integration of laser and GPS equip-ment allowing the ability to maintain your desired grade.

I-155 TS2big Job? Expect big results

The I-155 TS2 is a popular machine among contractors that need the control provided by a direct-mount. This machine is designed for today’s industrial applications. This machine is perfect for contractors with large MFWD or small articulated 4WD tractors.

The large 16” diameter front pipe, tapered trail-ing arms, and heavy duty push-off system make the I-155 TS2 the strongest pull-type earthmover in its class.

Ashland’s I-155 TS2 is equipped with (2) 29.5 x 25 28 ply tires providing a large rolling radius for excellent flotation and climbing ability. The two large tires hug the ground at higher speeds, where you may see other scrapers rock side to side (duck walk).

The 5 x 20” Trunion mount provides quick blade response. This enables the operator to maintain constant tractor RPM’s and ground speed, build-ing bigger and quicker loads. Ashland’s direct-mount scrapers come with standard Nitrogen over hydraulic accumulators to absorb the

shock , which often occurred during trans-port.

Big jobs require a heavy duty machine and the I-155 TS2 is up to the challenge. The Dual plated 1” floor provides superior strength and rigidity to the frog. 7/8” plow bolts attach the Boron Thru-hardened blades. This machine will hold its own in the toughest conditions and will do so for many years.

This 17.5 cu.yd (13.4m3) dolly-wheeled ejector scraper offers the same rugged design and features as the I-155XL2, only larger. The payload is carried entirely by the front and rear wheels. This scraper is ideal for the contractors who want the freedom of using a scraper without having to purchase specialized tractor drawbars.

This 18 cu.yd (13.8m3) direct-mount ejector scraper is designed for 325HP+ tractors. This machine is perfect for contractors with high horsepower rubber-tracked or wheeled power units.
