FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS INTEREST How do I apply to this program?
Prospective applicant should contact their home university to secure a letter of recommendation, prepare required documents, and apply through Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka Platform
Where can I find more information?More information are available on our website and Instagram account.
When will partner universities and courses list information released?This information will be available in our website on May 10th 2021.
Will there be webinars or information session for this program?Yes, there are information sessions in April. You can watch each session on YouTube.
My home university do not have any existing partnership with appointed partner universities, can I still apply?
Yes, all partner universities in this program will sign agreement with Directorate General of Higher Education.
I am currently a holder of Kartu Indonesia Pintar or Bidikmisi Scholarship, am I eligible for this program?
Yes. You are eligible. Should you be awarded, your Bidik Misi scholarship in the semester you are awarded with IISMA will be postponed to avoid double funding. Please consult your university about your Bidik Misi scholarship.

APPLICATION I was admitted for an exchange semester at the same partner university which participate in your program, can I waive the selection process?
No, each prospective applicant need to undergo the same selection process.
I am currently on my semester 2 of my studies/ semester 8 of my studies, can I participate?
No, The program is designed for students who will be in their 4th to 7th semesters during the commencement of the program.
Can I apply to more than one host universities?No, you may only choose one university in our list. Please read all information carefully before applying
Can I submit more than one application?No, each student can only submit one application.
Can I submit the application after the submission deadline?No, the application will be closed on 23 May 2021
GENERAL REQUIEREMENTS Who is eligible for the program?
• Indonesian students residing in Indonesia.• Active registered students with minimum GPA of 3.00• Semester 4 - 7 undergraduate students (S1) currently enrolled
in Indonesian universities under The Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS What English Tests are acknowledged for the program?
• Minimum IELTS Score of 6• Minimum TOEFL iBT Score of 78• Minimum TOEFL ITP Score of 550*• Minimum Duolingo Score of 100*
*TOEFL ITP & Duolingo score might limit host universities option.
Can I provide outdated English proficiency certificate?No, prospective applicant is advised to retake the test for this case. Test results must be valid for two years.
THE PROGRAM Can I take any courses that suit my interests?
Yes, but students should coordinate with their university on the selection of university and courses. The letter of nomination from home university will cover these aspects.
How long will the program last?The program in general will last for 16 weeks, but the exact date and duration will be provided by each university.
How does the credit transfer mechanism works?If a student admitted to our program, students will be guaranteed 20 credits upon program completion. No specific credit transfer mechanism and learning agreement needed.
How will student’s performance be assessed and how will it contribute to the overall GPA at student’s home university?
Academic transcripts and certificate of completion will be issued by host university. Your home university will recognize courses you have taken at host university as part of your study.
