Tentative Budget
• Per Person: $1,700 – 2,000
• Budget includes:
– Domestic flight (Jakarta to Bali)
– Ground transportation and lodging
– Admission fees to cultural activities
– Most meals
– Gratuity for tour guides & drivers
• Budget does not include:
– International Flights • NY –> Jakarta (arrival: Mar 15th)
• Bali –> NY (departure: Mar 22nd)
• Estimated Cost: $1,450
– Additional meals
– Personal expenses, beach activities

Logistics
• Student Participants: 20 total including 3 organizers and 2 J-termers
• Full-time Business School students only (no significant others)
• Students with holds on their accounts are unable to participate
• Students are required to attend the entire study tour
• All company visits are mandatory
• Tour selection through bidding: chazentours.gsb.columbia.edu

Chazen Bidding Procedures
– TWO rounds of bidding
• Round 1: Thursday, November 6 – Monday, November 10, 4pm
• Round 2: Thursday, November 13, 10am – Monday, November 17, 4pm
– During the first 24 hours of Round 2, you can drop a tour and get your bid
points refunded to bid on another tour
– Round 2 bids will be used to determine the waitlist if more people bid than
spots available
– Results will be posted on the bidding website on the Wednesday afternoon
following each round
– Successful bidders will receive an email on Wednesday, November 19 to pay a
non-refundable deposit within 48 hours in order to secure their spot
– Unsuccessful bidders will be placed on a waitlist (based on bid amount in
Round 2 - highest to lowest). If a student gets a spot on the tour, he will be
charged this bid amount.
