INDO-US Bilateral Symposium On Next Generation Biologically Synthesized Nanofertilizers for Seed Coating and Foliar Application 5-7 September, 2019 TERI-Deakin Nanobiotechnology Centre, TERI Gram, Gurugram In collaboration with International Fertilizer Development Center, USA About the Symposium The theme of the joint symposium is “Next Generation Biologically Synthesized Nanofertilizers for Seed Coating and Foliar Application”. The objectives are (1) to apply nanotechnology interventions in the fertilizer sector for a better crop production with minimal impact on the ecosystem and (2) to create a platform for the exchange of ideas, concepts, and knowledge to further advance technological innovations. The symposium will provide a better opportunity to show the latest nanofertilizer innovations and future potentials to the scientist, researchers, and entrepreneurs. In order to realize the theme of the symposium, outstanding keynote speakers, guest speakers, subject experts, and researchers will be invited to discuss significant issues associated with nanofertilizers . Scientific Sessions The symposium will cover the following scientific sessions on nanofertilizers; Global status recent research and future market Synthesis and fabrication approaches Scale-up and commercial strategies Modes of application and field performances Toxicity and life cycle analysis Global status of regulations and standards Partner Institutions TDNBC/TERI The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is a research institute in New Delhi that specializes in the fields of energy, environment, and sustainable development. TERI-Deakin Nanobiotechnology Centre was created in 2010 through a bilateral partnership between Deakin University Australia and TERI of India. In April 2017, the Centre opened its new research facilities at TERI Gram Campus, Gurugram, Haryana. The Centre is supporting interdisciplinary researchers in the area of nanobiotechnology, especially nanotechnology applications in agriculture. IFDC The International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC) is a public international research and development organization with headquarters in the USA and a global presence, particularly throughout Africa and South Asia. Next Generation Biologically Synthesized Nanofertilizers for Seed Coating and Foliar Application

5-7 September, 2019 TERI-Deakin Nanobiotechnology Centre, TERI Gram, Gurugram

In collaboration with International Fertilizer Development Center, USA

About the Symposium The theme of the joint symposium is “Next Generation Biologically Synthesized Nanofertilizers for Seed Coating and Foliar Application”.

Scientific Sessions The symposium will cover the following scientific sessions on nanofertilizers; • Global status recent research and future market • Synthesis and fabrication approaches • Scale-up and commercial strategies • Modes of application and field performances • Toxicity and life cycle analysis • Global status of regulations and standards

Partner Institutions TDNBC/TERI The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is a research institute in New Delhi that specializes in the fields of energy, environment, and sustainable development. TERI-Deakin Nanobiotechnology Centre was created in 2010 through a bilateral partnership between Deakin University Australia and TERI of India. In April 2017, the Centre opened its new research facilities at TERI Gram Campus, Gurugram, Haryana.
